Pyrrha's emotional maturity was so far above the rest of her classmates that looking back all these years later, she is still considered one of the best characters, where the others are still trying to figure themselves out to this day.

It was Weiss subconsciously trying to protect her from the nightmare. Just like how she had Ruby and Yang locked up in the tower. You lock away the things that are most precious to you to keep them safe.
Nightmare Weiss caged everyone she considered a friend as a protection from the nightmare, and Pyrrha specifically represented feelings Weiss felt she had to suppress. Like Weiss she was blessed with prestige, privilege, and carried high expectations. But unlike Weiss, Pyrrha never let these things stop her from being herself. Knowing that someone like that exists threatens Nightmare Weiss's entire ideology of being the perfect heiress despite her own desires.
It's can also on a level represent the very reason pyrrah's singing . She said herself she felt trapped and isolated by the pedestal people put her on and Jeanne was the only one that saw her as even half normal even amongst their pears and as the person above me just proved it's 100% true when even someone like Weiss who is almost just as powerful and talented as herself still wishes she could be just like her . Wish the two interacted more
SPOILERS Pyrrha even died by herself, with Ruby only experiencing the aftermath of the killing blow. Too bad Jaune was too dense and/or wasn't knowledgeable enough of the situation to fully pull her out of her sacrifice.
The show it's from, Ice Queendom, is basically Weiss being trapped in her own head by a Nightmare Grimm and dealing with her mental projections of how she sees the others. In her head she sees Pyrrha as this eloquent figure who has taken everything about Weiss and does it better, including singing. Pyrrha's singing costume is even a version of Weiss' own dress she wears in Atlas during her concert.

I used to think the lyrics was "Can a heart be tamed to stop", but "can a heart be turned to stone" is even MORE crushingly sad.
