I have enjoyed this series of hunts so much. As a lover of foreign currency I really like the 1931 French 25centimes, my wife loved the 1976 10p as that's her year of birth. Thanks again. See you next time 😊
8:15 nostalgia ❤ I was born in 84, and I remember my dad getting those Italy 90 coins from the Esso garage. That was the first thing I started to collect. I love that you found that coin 👍🏻
Another great hunt, I particularly like seeing the old British coins, and the 1862 penny was in remarkably good condition considering its age. I'm glad that you were able to upgrade your own collection.
Awesome hunt! Love the variety of world coins in the mix. That was a beauty of an old coin you kept (love to know what you find out about it) keep these videos coming... Love em 👍
What a stunning condition for the 1971 decimal halfpenny! So much lustre for a circulated example..... it's more impressive than the halfpenny in my "Britain's First Decimal Coins" wallet! Thanks for an amazing video Paul; just one more penny needed! I look forward to the rest of your new box being examined. 🤞
As said below, the halfpenny at 19:15 is a Duke of Lancaster, John of Gaunt 1/2d of 1794, with the reverse featuring a fleur des les over a Lion within a spade shield, a Condor token about £12.00 on Ebay.
A nice mixture this hunt so many in good condition and some I haven't seen before up grades for the board nice who ever wins this will be very lucky its good of you to do this for the your subs cheers and thanks for sharing. 👊🇦🇺👍🙏
Cool finds. Almost down to needing only 4 open spots. This coin search my favorites were the UK 1912-H One Penny, Mauritius 1971 5 Cents with large lettering on reverse, Canada commemorative quarter with painted red poppy design, and beautiful UK 1862 One Penny with great details. I have to be on the lookout for a die number under a UK 1863 One Penny coin's date. Thanks for the info.
Nice twist on your usual penny hunts. a wide variety interesting finds and that 1864 was nice to see. Good luck with filling another gap in the penny years.
Thanks for taking the time to create content. I sit at my desk working, listening mostly to your work. I've started collecting this year in the UK so i find the nuances very interesting. Obviously i'd also like to win your giveaway competion on your your 12th video of the 29th sept 2024 .
Awesome video !! Love seeing 🇨🇦 coins (the 1916 one cent is fantastic !!) ... yes, we have circulating colourized coins here. There is a colourized and non-colourized version of the coin put into circulation. We have colourized dimes, quarters, loonies and toonies so far 👍🏻
Another very interesting and informative video, quite a few rare variant Pennies I wasn't even aware of! I need to go back and check my collection. I know I have a few KN and H mint but didn't realise there is so many more to look out for. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I Paul thanks again for another wonderful video although slightly different but very much appreciated because I collect foreign coins as well as English.Keep up the good work,my most looked forward video channel on RUclips, from JRS
what a wonderful condition for a 1862 penny. i have seen the Churchill crowns for sale on market place where people are asking for £5 and sometimes £10 for them saying that they are rare coins. this is a fun random lot of coins.
The 1862 and 1864 pennies were good finds, with the latter perhaps being the second rareest Victoria penny (if you don't count the 1882 no-H). With the 1862 there is also a 6 over 8 variety which is as rare (very) as the 8 over 6 and the halfpenny typeface varieties, with perhaps no more than 15-20 examples known. Super video, as always! ♥
The weird 1794 coin is a ½ Penny token, with John of Gaunt on the obverse, and the arms of the City of Lancaster on the reverse. Numista says that counterfeits also exist between 1792-1794. Nice 1862 upgrades for both your album, and the board, plus a space filler with the 1864. Nice variety of world and pre-decimal coins as well. Great vid Paul 👍
Nice seeing the 1953 florin! Recently got one of those off Ebay for my date run. Just waiting on a 1960 now and need a 1942 to have a full run from 1937 to 1967. (Have 1935 and 1936 too :P)

That coin you want help with is a John of Gaunt halfpenny token from between 1787/1797
Another great hunt, I particularly like seeing the old British coins, and the 1862 penny was in remarkably good condition considering its age. I'm glad that you were able to upgrade your own collection.

Love the wren design on the farthing.
Brilliant video, as always 👍

The Canadian 25c coins with poppies (and other coloured areas) were circulating coins. I have some, but not all

Thanks Glen. That ½ Penny token is in bad condition so it could be a fake.
Nice seeing the 1953 florin! Recently got one of those off Ebay for my date run. Just waiting on a 1960 now and need a 1942 to have a full run from 1937 to 1967. (Have 1935 and 1936 too :P)
