Congratulations on episode 500! I checked out of SWTOR a few years ago and got really into FFXIV, but I'm seeing a lot of small steps in the right direction between the dynamic events, the lair boss, and increased dev communication. Maybe I'll pick it up again for a little bit if I see more along those lines
Interviewers, you did a great job. Sadly, Musco and Keith provided nothing but non-answer after non-answer throughout... nothing you can do about that, but I'm not sure why they'd even grant an interview if they weren't prepared to talk about the things people want to hear about (more story, next expansion, next operation, PVP.) I expect this from them, sadly, but definitely not a slight against your podcast because you made the best of it!
I call bs about ability bloat, there are some classes that didn't lose any powers. Ability pruning ends in chaos. They could have just made the basic attacks morph into newer abilities instead of keeping them. They destroyed almost all tech classes with ability pruning with 7.0 while most force users didn't get touched.
I wanna agree with that too. They butchered almost every class. Them saying it made PVP better is BS, Juggeranauts rule and decimate with rage. My main Commando was horribly butchered by their decisions. Them also saying it gave players choice, F no it didn't. A majority of the time you have to pick between mobility and Defensive power (Cough mercs and Rocket out). They did it because they let it slip that it was to complex for players to learn and they wanted to dumb down the game to them.
@@Montrose7106 No class should of had DCD or mobility options taken away. They butchered Merc/Mando, Jugg/Guard, and Slinger/Sniper with what they did. Let alone taking hard stuns and soft stuns away from some classes/specs and making it an option and other classes/specs getting to keep theirs.

Congrats on 500! Great episode!
Thanks, Boomy!
Star wars central send me here
Cool!
32:00 well you do the cross hotbar solution, same as FFXIV and you get 120 button combinations on a controller

Wish you wpuld have asked about new Raids
How could you fail to ask about the collapse in voice-acted story progression? Was it a precondition of the interview?
There isn't a collapse of voice-acted story progression. There's a voice actor strike on right now, and they're honoring that, as they should.
@@ootinicast Simply not true. 7.5 predates the strike and was a PROFOUND drop in production quality. How could you miss this?

agree but force users didnt get touched? sins are garbage and mara imo is even worse, that class doesnt even have a hardstun anymore lol
If this had SWTOR in the title it would have got 100k views
Fair enough. It's in the tags, though, and the description. But it was a very busy couple of weeks and I didn't think of every angle. (Chill)
I need controller support so bad
