im not pro, or intermediate lol, i just got a board on amazon, the atom 90, it's not real fancy but seems to be pretty well built, ive ridden it hard for a week now and nothing but a couple scratches here and there. only thing is you need to tighten the trucks fairly often
same a snow board basically also those things they are holding are brakes but you NEVER slam one of those on!

oh and in my experience brakes are for girls :)
Weird that almost none of the riders have a low stance when free-riding, their all standing almost straight up.
@Tarzan07330 Dont put a brake on your mountain board it will ruin your experiance And it will stop you from progressing

Szukając analogii do snowboardu - czy znajdę jakiś filmik gdzie zjeżdżają z jakiejś stromej góry i do regulowania prędkości zjazdu jeżdżą ciaśniejszym lub szerszym slalomem ? Bo generalnie to widzę, że zjeżdża się na krechę a prędkość reguluje się...? tym hamulcem w ręce ?
my mountain board has breaks but i had an insane 2 meter jump and bailed then my brakes broke now theyre screwed up

so i just got my first board, do most people that just plan on "cruising" put a brake on their boards? i'd like to get into racing, but i doubt i will find anything anywhere near ohio. haha. but i still wanna go fast and get some air. i just figured the brake would get in the way for more advanced riding

a powie mi ktoś ile kosztuje najtańsza deska kompletna ew. ile by kosztowało złożenie najtańszej deski dla wgl. zielonego byle takiej co się za 2 dni nie rozleci. na jurze krakowsko - częstochowskiej mieszkam i jest tu sporo zajebistych miejsc :D
