The Oyster Perpetual has been my favorite model before it got renewal this year; I don't think it's underrated because as you said, the actual market price is already much higher than retail.
This is one of the most beautiful watches that Rolex offers IMO. I’d say it is underrated, but it is a favorite among wealthy athletes and celebrities, particularly in precious metals. The blue sunburst is truly stunning!
I think he said it was an annual calendar, so yes. Presumably it's not a perpetual calendar so would require adjustment for Feb 29 on a leap year. None of this matters much if the watch stops for any length of time.
I have recently picked up a steel white dial sky dweller from my AD. The watch really pops. If you get a chance to see one in the flesh you will be blown away. A colour combination that in my opinion seems to be overlooked as everyone is after the blue dial. It pops as much as the white gold version that was discontinued in 2018 which you could only get with a white or black dial.
I digg the white dial, I think it looks really cool, the same way I prefer the white dial Explorer 2 to the black dial version. Congrats and wear it in good health!!
Marko this my favourite Rolex watch.. Rolex has always been known for great marketing and robust watches. They never made watches with complications. This is their first watch they have made with a high complication. They took a long time to make an annual calendar.. however, it is worth the wait because they have used innovation, research and technology to incorporated the annual calendar using the bezel. A feat no other watch maker has done. Absolutely amazing. Also it is such a good looking watch that combines a sport look with the infamous datejust look. Beautifully finished in steel. I believe Rolex use and produce the best looking steel in their watches. I am luck enough to have a lot of Rolexs and I assure you this is my favourite and also the best.. also great value at RRP
I keep hearing that the Sky Dweller second hand can be adjusted to tick or sweep. Is this a myth? If not how do you do it as I cannot find any information on it!
I managed to buy two all gold Green dial Daytona watches from WATCH RAPPORT atlas price. I also purchased this particular watch steel with the blue dial for $16,250. Not too shabby. My question is if you were to choose an ever rose gold with factory diamond bezel and chocolate dale or all yellow gold with Greendale and diamond factory basil which one would it be that would be the day date model oyster? Which one do you think is more elegant?
My favorite Rolex also. Just a gorgeous watch in person. If your considering a GMT-M2 you could have one of these for a little bit more money and have a much rarer model with an annual calendar, that can also double as a dress watch. My only wish is it was a little bit smaller for everyday wear. It’s a wrist-full for many people. Nice review

Indeed the most interesting Rolex out there! like the black or grey dial better, but this blue looks good too. looking forward to the next episode on the Habring2 Erwin!
I am on the list for this watch but with a black dial... I really think black is the best and most timeless colour for this particular model. Blue is nice but it has become way overhyped and blue is for me more of an informal colour that does not match with all wardrobes, vs black which is at home in any formal and informal situation.
Seems like it will affect the watch to always have to pull out the crown to change the time. The GMT is a better design for those changing time zones frequently
