What is battery life?
Hola !
Nice watch
With such long flight times I would rather look into autonomous flight. I would be bored after 5 minus without flippyflops. But for surveilling or other tasks such a small quad would be perfect. I might look into this for modding my DJI Tello drone.
well, it's about exploring. but I need to work on my fpv setup until I m confident enough to go longer range. by the way, you can do soft freestyle too. rolls and loops are possible even after a few minutes of flight
@@Unboxingexperience7 Cool! Very interesting project. What's the current draw when on medium/full throttle. Could you include that in the OSD? Now I only see mA drawn which is quite a lot! :D
How did you solve camera cuttigout due to low voltage? The fc 5v voltage regulator normally has hard time under 3v.
step up regulator
@@pc-easy its a very simple comment, but they aren't wrong lol, there's also 1s boards that are built to be able to go down to 2 volts, and with some esc's you can mod them to work to lower voltages.
@@xymaryai8283 yeah, but does the fpv circuit work with that low voltage? I dont think so...let me know
www.pololu.com/product/2562 powering the camera and VTX , that will let you fly some more minutes, FC will shut down before the VTX with the 5V step up
where to solder the reciever wires? im a newbie
i also have a betafpv elrs nano reciever
For UART 1 solder RX to TX1, TX to RX1, VCC to 5V and GND to GND
GREAT JOB AND VIDEO💯🚀🚀🚀
Thanks! 😃
How much is the cost for a bird like this? Also can it me modded to bind to Spektrum and a Fatshark Nexwave Module?
around 130$. external receiver is no problem. For external VTX I would go for the V2b frame as it offers more space (it's on the same thingiverse page)
@@Unboxingexperience7 i do Not own a 3D printer maybe i can buy it somewhere . I like it very much. Need one in the near future
Please test this drone .how many carry ?
It can carry a gopro lite ruclips.net/video/RDL04cNTR0g/видео.html so around 20-25g
I'm actually quite surprise the "Happymodel DiamondF4 AIO" is still working under 3v... Should we assume that all receivers will follow at this low voltage if we plan to do this build ?
Or some of us might be disappointed if they doesn't pay attention to this...
Others builds usually use a step-up buck, but You managed to gets ride off, congratulation !
there is a step up integrated in the aio, it puts 5v out. the cut off voltage of the crazybeex is at 2.25v. i guess its the same at the diamond f4
Probably the weight could be improved significantly by removing the connectors.
On my new design I'm using magnetic battery connectors
Can hover using gps position hold?
not on betaflight as far as I m aware
Hi,
Very cool project but I don't understand one thing, how you use 7500mah with a single 18650 ?
the current meter was not properly calibrated. this samsung battery provides around 4000mAh so half the displayed amperage usage seems reasonable.
@@Unboxingexperience7 Thank you !
have a nice day
I want to build this but how do you connect the battery to the drone?
wires + connectors. I'm using GNB27 but XT30 is ok too. You need to spot weld/solder the 18650 battery though. Or you use a 18650 tray like Dave_C.
@@Unboxingexperience7 thanks
@@Unboxingexperience7 can you charge the battery after you soldered it?
can you make a cinewhoop version?
Had It on my mind. But I'm hesitating because weight matters
This is so sick!!! I would try 2s though...
What pins did wire the receiver to?
What about soldering a better antenna? Would increase the weight by about 1 and a half gram but I think it's worth it
yes, this works. I already tested with an omnidirectional antenna. but I mounted it to the gps cage. it interfered and I couldnt gat a gps fix. now I m trying a simple whip antenna.
