I Took this trail about 25 years ago, there was little to no gravel and culverts missing, we forged thru the water in my late model Dodge Dually 4 X 4 , a time or two Wife wanted to know if I thought we would make it lol. Seen an equal number of Croc's and many beautiful birds. There were no pull outs or concrete any thing any where. We drove 1/2 or less your speed and loved it, came out after dark. My wife has passed now, but this was her most memorable trip we took. She rode 1/2 way on the tool box till a monster snake hanging above put her back in the cab quickly thru the sliding rear window. she moved with the grace of a snake.
