    In spite of all the windows, it’s still super nice and the perfect size that I would want. I love it.

    It’s hard to provide too much natural light to me. I’d ignore the windows and put the sofa wherever I normally would which is the location you mentioned.

      Big challenge in tiny living is getting a balance with the natural light and insulation required. Windows and doors will generally have much less R value so to speak than walls. It's hard to live comfortably in a greenhouse lol.

    Forgot to ask, does it have any “key money “ and does it include 2 years worth of rent?

      @50pluslife360  3 месяца назад

      Yes, the key money is if you buy one, you have to go to our Patreon page and give us $5. LOL. No free rent, but your rent is FIXED with an adjustment clause. It will be annually adjusted in accordance with what percentage your Social Security goes up each year. If your Social Security doesn't increase, then it will go up based on the inflation rate. But REMEMBER, it's FIXED! LOL!

    What type of mini split was that? And how many Amps is the plug for the tiny house? Thanks for your coverage 🤗

    • @50pluslife360
      @50pluslife360  4 месяца назад +1

      The mini split is a Della Home brand. The service is 150amp, although you could likely upgrade to 200amp - you'd just have to ask Phoenix Building Solutions.

      @@50pluslife360 For occasional use only. Would you want to eat outside when it's 30-40 degrees or 104 degrees? I wouldn't.

      @50pluslife360  3 дня назад

      Although we have eaten outside in extreme temps, it's not ideal. There is a decent sized two-stool eating area where Mr. Chubby was sitting near the start of the video. Or, you could have a tray table in the living room.

    Since seeing ITH's new small homes on foundations, I think I like them better than the tiny homes.
    For a tiny home, it is darling.
    Thanks for showing.

    Are these tiny homes the same construction as a mobile or manufactured home? A true tiny home is stick-built just like any residential home. Is this tiny a real tiny or a manufactured house on wheels?

    • @50pluslife360
      @50pluslife360  4 месяца назад

      Depends on the tiny home. The definition of the term has gotten diluted over time. This is a park model RV built to RV standards- not residential, not HUD, not mobile. They can be considered an RV or ADU but in most jurisdictions across the country they are not intended to be occupied full time, similar to an RV. Some jurisdictions do allow full time residence in these homes or even in shed conversions. There are similarities between RV and mobile codes but these mainly have to do with insulation requirements. Many park model manufacturers do beef up the insulation though. The other main point is the square footage. Tiny homes are loosely defined as any dwelling less than 500 square feet. Park models are under 400 square feet (except one category- Florida park models which are under 500) and adhere to height and width requirements for transportation restrictions. Nowadays a cardboard box, a tent, a shed, an RV, a park model, a foldable, a tuna can, a van, a bus, or a stick built can be considered a tiny home if it’s under 500 square feet and someone calls it home.

    Is this an actual Tiny Home like the Amish built ones that Randy from ITH sells, or is it a mobile home?

    • @donnaahlgren9219
      @donnaahlgren9219 4 месяца назад +3

      Looks very similar only much nicer and much more bang for your buck!!!!

    • @50pluslife360
      @50pluslife360  4 месяца назад

      Not to confuse anyone, this is not a home made by ITH, but it is an RV Park Model, which, I believe, is the same classification and building standard (RVIA) to which many, if not most of ITH's are build to. However, very few of ITH's homes provide the 399 square feet that most other manufacturers do While materials, craftsmanship and quality may vary, the industry standard is the same. I have heard that ITH is pursuing a different building standard for some or all of their models, but we don't know for sure as we don't keep up with them much.
      Amish build them as well as many other manufacturers including some mobile home manufacturers (Hamilton, Clayton, Chariot Eagle, Skyline, Skyhawk, etc.). Some companies specialize only in RV Park Models and not mobile homes. It pays to research before you buy and that's what we do here on our channel - visit many dealers and manufacturers to see what's out there and what quality and material variability exist - in hopes of educating the viewer. We are also looking for our own tiny home as well.

    Why would anyone put a refrigerator that swings against your kitchen? It should open toward the kitchen.

      Phoenix is a bunch of He Man Woman Haters club members. LOL. They actually have all guys working in their management team. I'm sure they just sourced the appliances and put them in place without much thought to the functionality. It's actually a pretty quick change to switch door swings on most appliances.

    Are you flippin serious, 90,000 for a rat trap. I am all for tiny houses if people want, people like to go to extremes. But we should NOT be forced to live in tiny houses

    • @50pluslife360
      @50pluslife360  4 месяца назад

      Same here. If people want tiny houses, there will be a market for them and there are many more out there that are much more extreme in design and price. Not sure about "rat trap" - guess you live at Mar-a-Lago or Trump Towers in NY, but the home was nicely constructed to RV Park Model standards like most of them. And last I checked, no one's forcing you to live anywhere.

    Looks like a somewhat cheaply made house. Rolled vinyl floors, all wood with particle board bases to the cabinets. Too many windows in the living room.the dishwasher is too far from the sink, and they do not use better stairs.

    • @50pluslife360
      @50pluslife360  4 месяца назад +2

      Many manufacturers' processes are to utilize assembly line building and for sake of building, most do use rolled vinyl in the park models. The dishwasher is about as close as you can get it in this model, and at least there is a dishwasher. Many RV park models don't even have dishwashers. Loft stairs could be better, but they would intrude on living space.
      Many stick built homes are using particle and osb board in building methods and calling it "engineered" panels or wood. It has its place to keep down costs but is not perfect for every situation

    Probably shouldnt use the term incredible tiny home since it is a company

    • @50pluslife360
      @50pluslife360  4 месяца назад +3

      Maybe one shouldn’t use the term for those red and sometimes green fruits that grow on trees and taste sweet and sometimes sour and we make pies and tarts and turnovers with them. Since, after all, APPLE is a computer and phone company. When Randy “Jesus” Jones copyrights those three words we might stop using them, but last I checked it’s still a free country. 😂 Thanks for watching!

      Get what you’re saying though. We’re not trying to mislead anyone to think this was made by ITH…we say it loud and clear in the video and description that it’s made by Phoenix Building Solutions in AL. We think it is incredible so this the title. Randy and the boys at ITH will not allow you to video any of their homes anyway.
