Warpath was always one of the most fascinating autobots to me. I loved the juxtaposition of him being a tank (a very militant and destructive vehicle) with him also being a hero. I think my favorite characterization of him was from the War for Cybertron game that had him as the inexperienced rookie who was a bit of a loudmouthed showboat, but had enough of a good heart and enough skill that Optimus trusted him on big missions.
Geez, Warpath had one of the simplest transformations in G1. This redesign takes it up many notches.

I remember the original G1 Warpath toy being a little "wonky". This one is a masterpiece!
You could transform it in a few seconds though. Those were toys made for kids in the 80's, these are toys made for those same people 40 years later!
this one still looks a bit wonky to me, the proportions are weird, I don't know if the arms are too short or if the chest is too bloated but it just looks off, and the tread sleeves don't help

Best version I've seen of Warpath true to G1 format n his level of transformation is nothing short off intricate...Cheers
The new War for Cybertron Kingdom version is pretty good too, if you don't mind a bit of partsforming...
For anybody intrested, this Warpaths tank design is based on the US M551 Sheridan

Warpath was always one of my favorite Transformers. He should've been more prominent in the G1 cartoon.

Definitely a favourite for me... Optimus and Megatron are my favorites... but it would take nearly forever to Transform Unicron, Metroplex, Tripticon and Primus.

Him, powerglide, tracks and omega supreme are my favorite autobots of generation 2.
You should do more third parties bots as they have proven time and time again they use better material, more toon accurate and better price point than Takara. I use to only collect official license toys til I realize I work my balls off and buy Takara toys that were lighter, cheaper material with less accessories than third parties. Companies like fans toys, xtransbots, Dx9, mmc, maketoys all Outdo Takara and that’s sad for people who only want the official stuff. Get your hands on a third party stuff. Will make you change your mind. Not that hard to throw a sticker on there and then it really looks like you took it out of the cartoon. Excellent

I'm not a fan of faux-parts, but the way the chest turret encloses the tank turret is very clever.
Best transforming toy I've seen so far. Will worth the money, if only I know where to buy.

These newer generation transformer toys are so much more sophisticated than the G1 toys from the 80s and 90s. But they also look way, way better.
Most of these toys are also Chinese versions. They got some nice looking transformers but theyre not officially licensed, yet, looks tons better than the hasbro Takara tomy lines.

How about g1 unicron
DX9 made a Powerglide called Richtofen, MMC made a Cosmos called Omne, X-Transbots has a Seaspray called Neptune, and Fanstoys has a Perceptor that I can't remember the name of. If you're interested, I think both Big Bad Toy Store and TF Source have them.
@@followlokii There's actually a 3p G1 unicron coming out. It was originally going to be made by Zeta Toys, but after Hasbro sued, the project was moved under another company.

Nice. I didn't even know there was an autobot with a tank mode for G1.
The torso is *very* clever. Shame about the track sections on his arms though. I'd almost prefer them to be removable clip-on parts. End result is still really cool though.

i like the new transformers collectible toys but they have such complex transformations compaired to the transformer toys from my childhood around the 80's and 90's and these probably cost a bit more aswell judging by how much production costs must go into fabricating all those tiny parts just for locking things in place after the transformation

Sheridan is a light tank, the Abrahams is like 4 times heavier than that , idk if it will work

@@tankshot3256 i mean if it will fit the overall character and well , shape , heavier tanks are bigger than light ones , so i think it would be better to put a more modern light tank rather than a heavier tank, kinda like how a transformer that transforms into a sport car from the seventies now would transform into a more modern sport car and not into a heavier car , thought i could be mistaken and Warpath would function well regardless of how heavy the tank is

World of Warships recently did a Transformers tie-in. Wouldn't be surprised if World of Tanks does something similar in future. Autobots, Decepticons, there's a lot of tank alts on both sides.

Idk about updating it to an Abrahams , the Sheridan is a light tank and the Abrahams is a MBT that weights 4 times more lol
