The feet worry me a bit, given that the whole thing is held up by those tiny little ankle pieces, but otherwise I am loving this model.
Just guessing here, but thanks to the screws in either end and the slight difference in sheen, I wanna say those struts are die-cast. Don't take my word for it though

Really seems like you’re having to put a lot of force into it at several points and that it’s fighting you. While the figure looks great and the actual transformation steps seem to be fun and fluid it is a shame.
I don’t recall if he’s done the - war within transformers ~ dinobots , also the Airialbots

When the old Hasbro combiner wars version looks just about as good in both modes, is a fraction of the size and a fraction of the price. Parts count just makes for finicky overly-long transformations that are a pain to get through. I'll never understand why these insanely overpriced unimaginative old G1 designs with insane overly complicated conversions are so popular. Like look at its feet lmao. Just a pile of panels mushed up into a vague shape that resembles a foot kind of. Is that where all my values going? Into piles of feet panels lol? Yeah I know thanks I'll take the $10 one that looks perfect in robot mode and takes ten seconds to transform 🎉😂🎉🎉🎉
