Your hair doesn’t look damaged at all or as bad as you think it looks, keep going, you don’t need to start over. Wear your hair out, sometimes protective styles protect in one way but is damaging in other areas. Like the perimeter and the edges get damaged, and even the ends tend to get thin and scrawny in protective styles. But stick to what you were originally doing before you went into the protective styles. Your hair was super long and healthy 💖
Yeah I agree, only the perimeter needs to recover but the rest is healthy and strong. Didn't look like she had a lot of shedding/ broken off hair too! Usually that's a sign of much damage- where the hair has become brittle and just doing iggy-agga lol
Its not the protective style that damaged the hair. The hair was already damaged. Protective style is what will help you recover and regrow your length because you are doing less manipulation and giving it room to recuperate.
Hey just be careful with using too much protein, that can break hair as much as it builds it. It’s great you’re using Olaplex. I think doing less oil styling and cutting out proteins right now could possibly help you. I just cut off my colored relaxed ends. My hair was doing great except I had some setbacks and I’m now learning more to change things in my hair care. Best of luck to us!
By the way I do know you don’t use oil much anyway lol. To your question in the video I think your hair looks great and you should continue nursing the perimeter and protecting the rest from the same mistake. I hope it doesn’t spread further and that you get back on track in no time!
Your hair still has its length..the sides will catch up... I hv still been protective styling and also getting some tx from stylist that's been helping me with recovery. We decided to continue stretching until February since I'm not going wear it until healthy and kinda bck where I was before this happened. I've been using clips in cause quick and easy

Sorry you are having setbacks as well. I got some new clip hair extensions for fall that I'm excited about. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
It turn out pretty. What hand dryer did you use
Thank you beautiful!! The hand dryer is from Dyson
Maybe 2 months was a bit too long,im just saying
2 months for what?
Nevermind I see. Extensions. I do know that would, tangle, matte, and break off my hair, if not after then gradually.
