The Best built on youtube without exception. I'm a CNC Machinist having setup several mills and that was amazing work. You need to bolt it down to a good concrete floor and finish leveling to axis's and you can get it to read more accurately, plus it will hold tighter tolerances consistently. At that stage a precision level is necessary to use complete leveling and to obtain accuracy. Look up how to level a cnc vmc and get the pdf manual on a Mazak or a major machine tool builder.

      Thx!
I leveled the mill but i can not bolt it into my floor (heating floor). Accuracy is for my hobby needs more than enough. (20mm circle: 19,996 - 19,993)
      Thx for your comment.

(3 Seitig)

Is there any chance you'd be willing to share a .step file or equivalent of the design with a BOM. I know is asking a lot. I've dreamt of building something exactly like this. I have the build experience but not the design experience. I've looked for ever to find such plans with no results. Especially with such a great design. It would be to costly for me to just wing it. Please consider it.

nice, have a question about the green spindle.. did you buy the cheapest version with the purpose of upgrading the bearings right away? Which bearings would you recommend to upgrade to?

    • @diycnc2023

      Hello,
yes, i bought the cheapest version and with the purpose of upgrading, becouse the original bearings are normal ball bearings. For assembly a fridge for cooling the spindle down and a baking oven for heating the bearings (100C) is ok.

      Hello,
because epoxy resin is much more complicated to use. The concrete is easy, you only need a mixer.
Also machine building companys use concrete:
