This was a really good video. I'm preparing to start my RBS plan tomorrow and have been reviewing as many of your videos as possible. Started a journal and did grocery shopping. Will be starting 3 day challenge tomorrow. I'm really getting excited and this morning I realized I actually have hope for the first time in a long time. Thank you so much for posting this motivational and instructional video. You are very inspirational. I long to have your success and mostly, I long to have your positive outlook. Lots of good information here!
This book has been MASSIVELY popular. As Amanda says, I figured out cooked recipes from the RBS framework, but still found ideas in this that were great for cooking. I *highly* recommend the salsa verde chicken! It rocks! The kewl thing being that I can't cook everything from scratch every day. These recipes are just a few minutes, less time than finding a menu and ordering something delivered. Yes, I usually like cooking for real, with fresh garlic, onions, peppers, fresh herbs, etc. But there are days I'm just not up to that - and these recipes fit the bill. It's brilliant in the same way the original RBS was - fast, easy, frugal meals. I can get fancy when I feel like it, and spend time in the kitchen. If I have piles of zucchini to get through, I can choose to do that. But I never *have* to. This is the antithesis of Thanksgiving, where you cook for days for a meal that is over so fast; instead, you prep a meal in a few minutes that takes longer to eat than it did to prepare. And so few dishes! What I appreciate most is I have loved ones who don't really cook and have always been at a loss for how to teach them how to eat in a healthy manner. Both the RBS book and the SSS book are pretty much *made* for these types of folks. Those of you who do cook will have no problem upscaling these recipes to gourmet-level. But you don't have to - and I greatly appreciate that.

I'm up for a group hike! Just came back from Seattle and walked around in Mt. Rainier National Park. But you are a loooong way from me...I'm in North Carolina....so give me a lot of time to plan it out please. Love your cooking style; I do the same thing (haven't measured much except baked goods in many years).
New to your channel... I find it interesting an want to try...I have a question with the one meal a day is bullet proof coffee acceptable to have on mornings to help with appetite control?
Hi Cherry. There really is no "acceptable" or "not acceptable." If it works for you, then by all means do it. I don't add cream or fat to my coffee because I end up with basically too much.
I just watched this today and my daughter who is a senior in high school is on a field trip to UCD at this very moment. My Grandfather went there when it was an Agricultural school and my husband went there. I'm a little concerned about how to pay for it if she decides that's her school! LoL Any tips please let me know! :D
My secret to paying for college: Have no income. :) My son qualifies for pretty much everything and that has helped a good bit but, yeah, college costs are really pretty horrifying

My question I see u have different books an my question is which should I start with as beginner as I want to cont with cabbage but unsure which book will help me with that an different recipes? Hi! My hubby just retired last year. It's so much easier to make a change when the guys deploy. Your life is a bit of kilter at first anyway. It's easy to make changes to your routine when the routine is already changing.
