will do!! I just did a mani last night and It is a french tip so perhaps in the top half I left undone?? Might look wild or it might be a fail... we shall see!!
Wonderful! I have a set of 50 different color mica powder packets I got from Amazon, and yours is the first place where I've seen it used on nails. (which is what I had in mind) And, this quartz looks much more realistic than any other quartz tries I've seen so far! Great work!
Wow! What a clever, creative piece of art! Regardless of your tools, art is art. Your creativity & individuality is what makes it special...unique. U put a good bit of thought into this, & it shows! Very nice!
I've just watched this video and the one where you put blue polish and unicorn chrome. I can't decide which one I love more! Had to subscribe. Can't wait to check out your channel now.
OMG! Fangirl mind blown! I have been a subscriber for ages and love your videos so, firstly, I can't believe you watched my video and, secondly, that it inspired you to create this!!! Thank you so much for the shout out!!!! As for the "cool" username, it's mainly because I'm a mechanical engineer. I did nails as a hobby for 19 years and was interested in engineering the nail service to overcome issues - allergies, skin conditions, ease of application, wear time, recreation of, say, an acrylic mani, using only gel products, and so on. I quit engineering just over 6 months ago, to go pro nail tech, so I can fit it around going back to uni (for more engineering). I was planning a whole bunch more gemstone / mineral stone nails, including labradorite, so I'll be sure to check your video first to make sure I'm not covering the same ground x
Hi! You're vid was so helpful I watched it a few times to get familiar with the technique. I think yours look much more like quartz and mine are more marble-y haha How cool! I love that you are using your schooling and combining it with your passion. That is so great! I know you'll do amazing things. Oh boy my labradorite nails are a little rough haha I think they were ok for a first try but I know you could do the technique better! Go for it!
Mica powder - nice touch! And I was PMSL when you were talking about blowing (you blew, I sucked)! Phew, my labradorite is a fair bit different - more geode style, so hopefully not much crossover, yay! I've shot a few different mineral stone nail videos and keep getting more requests - it's such a big trend! - so I reckon for the next few weeks, I will be mostly producing gemstone nail videos!
Please ladies don’t view doing the same style as a bad thing! Instead, it is really, really helpful to see which small differences have big differences in outcome. Angel, since the Sharpie can so easily flood your cuticle and stain the skin, was there some reason you don’t use some form of cuticle barrier?
by the way... YOUR NAILS ARE SO LONG NOW, WHEN I SUBSCRIBED YOU, IT WAS PROBABLY HALF OF THE LENGTH RIGHT NOW. I mean you could do more nail arts in it and yeah ~ so pretty!
Gorgeous thanks for sharing. . Have you ever tried making acrylic paint more translucent by using floating medium?? It's basically the paint minus pigment... I've used for regular painting
Thanks for watching! If you recreate these tag me @twi_star 😇
twi_star these r so cool!!
will do!! I just did a mani last night and It is a french tip so perhaps in the top half I left undone?? Might look wild or it might be a fail... we shall see!!
