    I appreciate that you more fully explain some of the things that other video makers don't, like paying attention to the temperature of the water, using inexpensive skewer sticks, switching to clean sticks, or how clean the water surface is. Thank you! I learn a lot from your videos.

      Sarah T I love her voice! I don't do nails or get mine done and I watch her videos all the time! I just have natural nails and no desire to get acrylics. I had them once and it was not pleasant.

    • @iEMILAR
      @iEMILAR 7 лет назад +1

      Same! I learned it was because of the way they removed them...not necessarily the chemicals themselves. Acrylic is safe if they don't rip that shit off your nail when removing it. It's supposed to be a slow process involving a lot of acetone soaking and buffing lol...but most places just want to get you out of there fast so they don't care. I have my natural nails as well, I'm afraid of acrylic, I am trying to grow them out so I can do these cute tutorials

    cute! i love water marble. here's a tip: for the middle rings that arent spreading as much, it's because you have to give the previous ring enough time to spread completely. if you drop one color in while the other is still trying to spread then neither will spread out all the way.
    tfs!!!

      +Miss Lucario Pull off stuff from nails? What are you referring to? lol. Because I can't figure it out for the life of me.

    • @misslucario7278
      @misslucario7278 8 лет назад +1

      +Crista Ellwood I meant peel off, but my mobile felt like pull off was the right verb for talking about nails^^"
      I was referring to fake nails, glitter, gel and all the different kinds of manicures you could wear :)

      +Fay Dyllon I know, but she's so sweet and professional that I'd prefer her advice over someone else's. And no, unfortunately she doesn't have any video on this topic yet :/

      you can use a peel off base coat. I suggest UNT Peel off base coat because it works the best. but for drugstore/ sally beauty I would suggest the sally Hanson biggest peel of bade coat or the OPI glitter off. but the glue base ones (OPI and sally) tale way longer to dry but there cheaper the the UNT one

    what kind of nail polish did you use because I tried and the nail polish harden on the water

    • @amberlyrenea12
      @amberlyrenea12 8 лет назад +4

      Sometimes it's not the polish, but the temp of your water. If your water is not room temp, the same temp as your polish, it will dry the polish too quickly. Also, new, thin, creme polishes work best!

    • @erickal5426
      @erickal5426 8 лет назад

      ok

    • @limealemur
      @limealemur 8 лет назад +2

      Sea Viper Amberly is right. The temp of your water makes a huge difference. But it's also a little bit of trial and error to see what polishes will work. Some just don't.

      Creme polishes work best. They have more color and look best spread over water. Other polishes are too thin and dont work as well once they spread out

    • @Magilla-wo7sc
      @Magilla-wo7sc 6 лет назад +1

      Don't use anything with glitter.. The size of the container you use and the water you use will determine what kind of polish you want to use.. Sometimes I can use Sinful Colors and Pure Ice just fine and other times I have to change it up to OPI or China Glaze because of the type of water or temp of it.. I always use the same container for marbling though.. Just have to play around with it and find what works best for you..

  • @philtirah
    @philtirah 6 лет назад

    Of course she can water marble! Lol. I have noticed, even when I do it, the polish spreads better by the third finger or so just like hers. I feel the key here to get good spread on the water, is for the water temp and the nail polish temp to match as closely as possible. If I practice a couple times with the same water, I can get more of a match in gradient and design if I want
