Same! I learned it was because of the way they removed them...not necessarily the chemicals themselves. Acrylic is safe if they don't rip that shit off your nail when removing it. It's supposed to be a slow process involving a lot of acetone soaking and buffing lol...but most places just want to get you out of there fast so they don't care. I have my natural nails as well, I'm afraid of acrylic, I am trying to grow them out so I can do these cute tutorials

cute! i love water marble. here's a tip: for the middle rings that arent spreading as much, it's because you have to give the previous ring enough time to spread completely. if you drop one color in while the other is still trying to spread then neither will spread out all the way. tfs!!!

I adore the colours you've used here. Also, the cleanup is so much easier if you paint acrylic around your nails, as you did the Vaseline. Then you can just peel it all off when you're finished

you can use a peel off base coat. I suggest UNT Peel off base coat because it works the best. but for drugstore/ sally beauty I would suggest the sally Hanson biggest peel of bade coat or the OPI glitter off. but the glue base ones (OPI and sally) tale way longer to dry but there cheaper the the UNT one
Clever it is to apply oil or Vaseline to act as a barrier with doing water marble. In school we did use the stick to make designs. Instructor ole school lol but fun and informative

This technique is very old. I was doing this on nails a little over 20 years ago. I really enjoyed this technique and it shows how each nail can be different yet the same.
Sometimes it's not the polish, but the temp of your water. If your water is not room temp, the same temp as your polish, it will dry the polish too quickly. Also, new, thin, creme polishes work best!
Sea Viper Amberly is right. The temp of your water makes a huge difference. But it's also a little bit of trial and error to see what polishes will work. Some just don't.
I love simply peel but it's a little expensive. I bought liquid latex body pain on amazon and i got a small jug of it for 10 dollars 8f you use an empty nail Polish bottle and fill it its much cheaper the simply peel because you can fill multiple bottles with ine jug

Don't use anything with glitter.. The size of the container you use and the water you use will determine what kind of polish you want to use.. Sometimes I can use Sinful Colors and Pure Ice just fine and other times I have to change it up to OPI or China Glaze because of the type of water or temp of it.. I always use the same container for marbling though.. Just have to play around with it and find what works best for you..
I've just come across this channel and I think I'm staying! You're so good,and you're teaching me a lot! I never even knew you could shape your nails! I've only just begun to care about my nails and have a dance coming up so I think I can't use some of these tutorials! I can't do much because I bite my nails,trying to stop but I get nervous, stressed etc.,if they ever get long enough I will use these tutorials. Even if they don't it won't stop me! xo 😄❤❤

I've just come across this channel and I think I'm staying! You're so good,and you're teaching me a lot! I never even knew you could shape your nails! I've only just begun to care about my nails and have a dance coming up so I think I can't use some of these tutorials! I can't do much because I bite my nails,trying to stop but I get nervous, stressed etc.,if they ever get long enough I will use these tutorials. Even if they don't it won't stop me! xo 😄❤❤
