I just wanted to say how much I love this podcast, its quickly become my favourite one and made all the other youtube ones seem so mediocre in comparison. Good mixture of humour and interesting topics. I also love what Arthur mentioned a few weeks ago about not wanting to talk about what's trending too often and instead having an episode be evergreen, I love the what's good podcast but think that's their negative - because its all about trending youtube stuff if you listen just one week later its all out of date. So please continue this way! Also, never get Bach a soundboard. So much funnier when he has to use a fake one
YES. I feel like everyone's interest is moving back into long form content that isn't so hyped up. Just 2 good buddies who are smart and interesting just CHILLIN 💚
I know these guys, Arthur especially, are very into the analytics of things and I just want you to know. I don’t watch the episodes as soon as I see them NOT because of a title or thumbnail choice, but because I love the pod (and both of their individual content) SO much, that I save it for the least great part of my day. It’s such a good listen fr and always has me cracking up.
Love the podcast, I’m 23 and after a traumatic injury I’ve been living with constant chronic pain for the last 3 years, lost my career in December last year. Whenever I’m feeling really down and out these podcasts never fail to make me laugh. I listen on Spotify but came here to leave a comment, thanks for the laughs!
I listen to these whilst drawing and i just wanted to say, i got into my dream college and I'm doing an Environmental management course and finally moving out at 20!
31:40 "For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much-the wheel, New York, wars and so on-whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man-for precisely the same reasons."
1. We need an in-depth storytime about how you guys decided to start this podcast and the journey so far. In the first episode you said you guys didn't know each other that well. So, how did you decide? Did you both think hey we are sciency, funny, and on youtube? Which i am so thankful you did btw. 2. Please do a segment called "fill in the fact" where its fill in the blank but you each pick crazy facts for each other and go back and forth. So like the hippo one: hippos run blank mph. And then the other fills in. You two enjoy new facts so much so....
Games in the Coliseum: they were all day entertainment, and the battle with animals were in the mornings, and the meat was distributed to people in the audience. They were having bbq and wine all day. They also could have a nap if they wanted. Baths and public toilets were accessible in those times. Gladiator fights were usually hosted in the afternoons.
I love these games. I provide games for Talk Until The Joy Is Gone podcast on their TUTJIGIA episodes. It's so much fun to put together and see what the boys come up with so this content is definately something I love to see. Love your podcast guys! Makes my Thursdays so much better x
I can't wait for the dinosour episode. My question is, which dino time period are we a fan of (Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous)? Also if u end up talking about post-extinction time periods I think the Miocene is pretty cool, the Entelodontidae is probably one of the most terrifying things
I'd love for you guys to look into Alderian psychology. The book I digested it best in is called "The Courage to Be Disliked" and is in a dialogue format between a Japanese philosopher and his student. Very similar to Socrates and Plato's relationship. I'm actively trying to incorporate the teachings in my life as someone with anxiety and adhd and all that. It only took me a few days to read (a few hours a day.. it was that good).
Love the podcasts but I do gotta say my analysis of Arthur has made me realise he might be the kid that said he saw Santa deliver his presents and give in depth (Practically 4K quality) storytelling of the whole shindig. 🌹
I love Pluto bc its in the kupier belt with like so many other dwarf planets neighboring it and has 5 moons and it's like a little family just outside our solar system
A question that would be interesting to discuss: if you love animals, value consciousness, and are interested in other life forms - why do you eat animals? (Arthur's chicken on the table from his pasta prompted this). You can get all nutrition needed elsewhere (other than B12 which is already fed as a supplement to livestock (so take the supplement yourself instead)) and you live in London (perhaps the easiest city to have a plant-based diet). It's the most overlooked ethical issue of our age and I'd be curious to hear your thoughts
Could you both do the 16 personality test where it's like you could be an INFJ which is Introverted,iNtuitive, Feeling and Judging. Curious to know which one you both are

whats good podcast mentioned 😝
Bach looks like he'd nobly sacrifice himself for a field of beans just like Pythagoras did
This format is EXCELLENT, taking a quiz and being able to talk about it in this depth AND make it interesting to listen to is such a talent! 👏

Why does Bach explaining gravity look and sound like some theatre student doing a weird one man play? 😂
this podcast is the reason i get through the week. come onnn!!
I would just like to say that Bach’s explanation of gravity was the most understandable theory I’ve ever heard 😂
