I'm glad people are still playing BF1942. A couple months ago I got pretty heavy into continuing work on my mod and I've already done some great updates to it. I have a lot of work to do and hopefully I will make a release soon. Be on the lookout for Swaffy's Mod (or SwaffysMod)

I’m here to remind people that this game still exists, but modding and stuff like that is way above my ability. 5:04 I know right! It's possible they don't know not to. The original version of the game has big red circles over the bases so it's clear what is off limits. But if you see my map there are no indications that those bases are off limits. I like to think it was an innocent mistake.... (it wasn't though lol)
I do sometimes but TGE is the best sever for my ping, and also I like the lowkey and friendly style. It’s a much more relaxed server compared to the other two more populated ones. I really like SiMPLE but my ping is too high. They have a ping balancing hit registration patch which makes combat fairer, but I find I’m more likely to clip trees or clip the ground when I’m flying. I think my ping there is 280 compared to 110 at TGE. Moongamers is really good for instant action. If you start playing then you’re immediately right into the fight. But it’s a little too much of an arcade server for me. There are too many spawn points in surprising locations and so on, and that takes away from the traditional BF42 gameplay. Also, I can’t just spawn and jump into a plane. Moongamers is a fantastic arcade server, and they’ve done amazingly well. But I prefer the chilled BF1942 experience at TGE

@Bangavspakis if memory serves u could still go into enemy base u just couldnt capture it depeneding on the map still very bm ;-;
