I think max had couple of tenths in hand. He looked completely in control, never pushing the car to the limit. Whereas everyone else was visibily fighting the car and track.
Being in complete control means he had the perfect conditions, perfect setup and barely made a mistake, you can watch greg murphy and his lap of gods, he was the same, completely in control no visible mistake

@@IceyDrewF1 thats why max likes twitchy oversteery cars, they can rotate around a corner faster and get on the throttle quicker, michael schumacher was the same, also generally twitchier/pointier cars tend to be faster, they are just very difficult to control but max is capable of doing it, I think Albon said, driving a car setup like verstappen’s is like playing a racing game but the steering sensitivity is on max.

Max is incredible when it comes to corner exits, thats what he does best.
