you have to align yourself perfectly with where the dragon will deal knockback to the arrow and so when it leaves from the fountain it deals a lot of knockback to everything around it, and so the arrow receives a lot of velocity (which means more damage) and hits the dragon (from my knowledge im not totally sure)
