I tried this recipe and I must tell you, i was disappointed to say the least. The proportions of masalas don't make sense, like at 1:11 when she said 1/2 small spoon of turmeric and 1 small spoon of coriander powder then proceeds to dump a quarter of cup. My taheri came out looking aneminc. So im giving this video a 4/5, but only because of the cute lady. I hope she'll remake this video with better instructions. This concludes my youtube review.

If you are quite that chef then you must know the colour and taste of masala depends on brand also. If you are using pure spices grounded at home it gives much better taste and colour with a small spoon. Also, if using packed ones even a spoonful can fall short in such situations.
Last but not least you know your household best than her and taste of your family and your tongue better than anyone so use your own senses while cooking. You must have heard of this phase “khao apne swaad anusaar”.
