    The irritating thing with a lot headsets or headphones is all these companies would have to do is basically put in a metal band and it would stop that from happening, but I think we all know they are designed with faults on purpose to save cost and so that you have to buy new ones.

    Hi. Can you share your final 3d design. I faced the same problem but based on the link it seems the torx holes could not fit perfectly with the hinges. Or maybe i have issues with the 3d print. Can u advice how to get perfect fit for the torx holes and hinges? Thank you btw ur video is inspiring

    • @JoshuaJung
      @JoshuaJung  Год назад +1

      Thanks! I used the same design as in the link but I had to experiment a lot with sanding down the holes and using an Xacto knife to cut away at some parts of the plastic to get it to fit with the hinges.

      No problem! Try sanding only a little bit at a time to see if it fits; I think I sanded too much at one time

    Im here late but this is exactly what I am after! Mine have not broken fully yet but the crack has been there for ages. They are amazing for gaming and work for me so I need to know how to fix them when it finally happens. Was thinking of changing the style of headband all together to because the cushion bands seem bad to me. I love your Old Trafford Lego too. Here the day after the FA cup win

    My surface headphones 1 broke at that spot after 22 months and I got them replaced under warranty (Swiss warranty minimum is 2 years), and Microsoft sent the surface headphones 2. They broke after 13 months at exactly the same spot, so I got a part 3D printed - and it worked for a year, but that part also split at the same spot. Really it’s a design flaw of the headphones to put all the flex there.

    • @JoshuaJung
