Hi , i have a problem with esp8266 can you help me. I purchased esp8266-01, but it is not accepting any at AT command. I tried flashing Ai thinker firmware but then also after successful flash no change at command not working.
When i uploaded blink code on it through Arduino ide it is working, on board esp led is blinking.
Even i purchased different modules esp-12f and node mcu but no one accepting at command
Please help me solve out at command issue
Suman Jha I am also facing the same problem. After a lot of searching, I came to know that after uploading Arduino code, I actually erased the AT firmware somehow. I also tried to flash it but I think I didn't get the AT firmware.
Tell me if I am wrong. I am also facing this shit. -_-

hello sir i have a doubt in this can i interface the the esp8266 with the dongle hooked to the a wall adapter without a need of an external PC running all along for the whole time,
if i was about to run the setup around the clock i cant run the pc for such a long time

Well for that I think you should use Rasberry Pi which can be just put along side of esp8266.

Sir i tried doing port forwarding in my d-link 600m router, same steps i follwed even firewall setting, but does not worked, yougetconnect gives port closed message.
I am using Windows 10 pro
Switch Off Windows Firewall & try.Also you can try with some other Port numbers.Else you need to contact your Internet service provider to verify whether they block ports or port forwarding.

Sir one more thing, i have esp8266 12f, i had made connection as per minimal configuration but esp is not giving any response to AT command or even Arduino serial. Simply when i power it, its on board led blinks once that it. Is my module fake or dead
Instead of raw 12F chip you can go for Nodemcu which has become much cheaper now & a nice development board for IOT. While using raw chip , all connections to be rechecked ,
CH_PD to pull high , Reset to pull high through Resistor, regulated 3.3v supply, etc,,,
