Sorry.. had to reupload.. But thanks for all the comments.. I read them all and appreciate them.
To avoid having the breadboard turn into a heatsink I sometimes solder the first and last pin of the header to secure it, then I put it down on a heat resistant silicone pad to solder the rest. They come out pretty straight. Awesome tutorial, thanks for making this one. :)
Your breadboard mishap reaction made me bust out laughing. You very faintly stated... "What?! Ohhhh nooooo.... F*** you... *flicks away breadboard*" Very subtle, very honest, I appreciate that because I don't feel so horrible when I mess up. Such a great concise tutorial!
he could just put another breadboard along side of it and put the board across the 2 of them... but.. oh well. 2 years later I'm sure he learnt his lesson
The Ai-Thinker ESP-07S only needs GPIO0 pulled down before powering up into flash mode (then press Upload in Arduino IDE). The datasheet shows other pins like RST, EN, GPIO15, etc, already have pull-up and pull-down resistors. There, when you use a CP2102 adapter, all you need is: vcc to vcc; gnd to gnd; tx to rx; rx to tx; gpio0 to gnd while you upload your sketch.
You make diy pcb's look so easy D:
Great tutorial just like all your others! I have made the same error with the circuit board being too large for the breadboard. But I just allow one row of pins to hang over the edge of the breadboard. Then just put female jumper connectors on the 2 or 3 pins that need to be used. Sloppy, but it works. Thanks!
Very clear and simple. Thank you. I just want to use the ESP01 to upload sensor data to ThingSpeak. I just need a simple beginning.
Thanks for the wiring scheme, I just missed to connect GPIO15 to GND. Now, I can use my ESP07. :D
Just like you i get an error when typing the commands... any solution to that?
DOH!! I know that feeling!
How do you identify the right paper to print the pcb layout on? I'm a bit scared to crash my laserprinter (expensive)
Which software do you used to design pcb

(R1 zw. Pin1-2 = 120Ohm, R2 zw. Pin1-Masse = 200Ohm) = 3.38V
HI. What is the powder name for PCB preparation?
Sir what is the name of the integrated circuit you use
Love it. Well described, and easy to understand. Subscribed. +1
when I type AT it returns AT no OK
how to get the html in directory of the server?i mean the url.
Nice tutorial, thanks! However I got my ESP8266-07 only to answer by setting the rate to 115200. With 9600 just nothing happens.
Same. Looks like 115200 is the default baud rate for some boards
What product you use to corrode the board?
Congratulations for your channel!
Hi. Can you tell please what is logic voltage on RXD and TXD of FTDI?!
Must be 3.3V
Thank you most valuable video and nice presentation. keep doing ..
What kind of water?
Would the schematic at 4:06 work for an esp12/12e?
no !
You can use two breadboard for your first wide breakboard so you don't have to make a new breakboard
Why at commands when u can programme with arduino ide?...
Because he wanted to use the available AT commands and it is a good example of how to use them. Many interested people (include me) can learn from this video. Existing documentation on AT commands lacks examples and clarity. This video is clear and simple.
Great work! Thanks man
Спасибо.
Great review.
Great Videos! Thanks
Jetzt wo du scheinbar doch nicht tot bist, kommen neue Videos über 3D-Drucker und Arduino Synthesizer oder hat sich das irgendwie erledigt?
+ge200099 ...arduino synth was more or less done in lack of arduino performance. but I could try to implement it on the esp since it is at least twice as powerful with up to around 50MHz and 32Bit processing power ;)
The 3D-Printer is a worn out after one year of intense use for my master thesis which was the reason I had no time to make any videos. But I have lots of material form the building phase and the results. There will be definitively more on this topic since I'm living now with three other nerds and we we have about 5 to six different self build 3D printers at our place ;)
I should by post a channel update, but I'd rather start producing actual content instead of making promises
to make Breadboard adaptor, think vertical , not horizontal. ..
welcome back !
ich habe es gerne nocheinmal geguckt. besonders bei dem fail habe ich doch herzlich geschmunzelt: noob
Pcb digram links
You're welcome...
I see this videos new idea's. I do this project and any problems to came anybody help me
Your pinout is wrong.
make more videos :D
