For hairspray I personally love the living proof one in the black can. It’s pricey but it’s the best one I have used. Holds well but doesn’t make my hair crispy since it’s a fine mist.
Hairspray recs! My FAV IS L’Oréal lock it weather control (its flexible) and Bed Head Master Piece (stronger hold and a little more stiff)

Hairspray suggestion - my absolute fav is the brand Not Your Mother’s the She’s a Tease Hairspray - it holds, not super stiff, just like a natural hold if that makes sense and doesn’t feel sticky. It layers well so you can touch it up as needed too.

I use Nexxus Comb Thru finishing spray. It holds my hair but it’s never crunchy. So good.

If you haven’t ordered the new chair yet, please consider the Union & Scale Hyken ergonomic chair. It’s sold on Amazon but it’s less costly at Staples. My local Staples had them in stock at the store so I could test drive before buying. Sadly, I can’t help with a hairspray rec.

My favorite is Amika Fluxus touchable, flexible hold hairspray.
