Notes: During "Love Buzz," Kurt dove into the audience and ended up fighting with a bouncer. The monitor board Kurt had smashed belonged to the bouncer's friend. Krist and Dave immediately stopped playing and rushed forward to break up the fight. Once everything cooled down, Kurt started playing "Pennyroyal Tea," but abandoned the song before singing any vocals and left the stage. When the band returned, they played the full song and continued the show.

I remember after Kurt's suicide someone asked Dave Grohl what Krist's and Kurt's relationship was like and Dave said how they were best friends and brought up this show how Krist was so quick to come to Kurt's aid.

There's a wooden pallet over the top of the board on stage left. Kurt kept smashing it with his guitar because of sound problems. The bouncer had enough of Kurt, grabbed him by the hair and started to pull him by his hair back to the stage, which is why Kurt Cobain smashed him in the head with his guitar. PUNK ROCK! They got away, the cab driver outside drove away just in time where the bouncer, his friend and someone else tried to fuck them up. They even smashed the taxi window trying to get to them. The driver drove away all super-fast and shitting himself nervous. He dropped down the sun-visor and quickly smoked the joint he had stashed there for later to calm down.

I bet they just left all their gear too and just got new junk....this is why they were the most amazing band....to say the least....they stood up to society and that is hard

Kurt is so good at this moment.
To be fair, Kurt does kind of "accidentally" smash his guitar into the bouncer's head. Love the way he times his physically movements with the music. He does that charge-up feedback noise right as he launches into the crowd.
Nothing accidental about it. Kurt was just trying to get the bouncer to stop pulling his hair out. Bouncer deserved that hit

Do you have a boss ds1 pedal cause that thing will make all kinds of different noise when you aren’t playing. All you got to do with it is stop playing and it will FUCKING make all kinds of noise. Combined with a cheap guitar and you’ll be surprised and hear new noises every day

This is why guards are now to stand in front of the stage I’ve played there many times and the guards stood in front of the stage not on it. Kurt thought it was a concert goer.

That place was WAY over capacity. Things probably would have been okay of Kurt hadn't dove into the crowd, but it seemed like he was in a special kind of mood leading up to Love Buzz to start with.
