This song is a marker to the beginning of what kicked off a divorce to a woman I was married to for nearly 15 years. The joy, excitement, and passion I experienced listening to this was matched with her utter disgust and contempt. I will never forget the look in her eyes as she expressed her disapproval. She was never a huge Nirvana fan but did/does like them. However she absolutely hated this take on “Come as you are.” It was at that exact point I knew things were going downhill. 4 months later we separated. 12 months after that, the divorce was final. Good riddance I say, and I’ve truly never been happier. I ended up getting a tattoo of this song title on the inside of my right arm. 😆😂
