    That fuel pump your running is know to loose a lot of flow at higher fuel pressures. The 255lph is at base fuel pressure. When you increase it with boost reference it starts loosing efficiency as the pressure increases.

    Its not the 500-600 on k series but the ring gaps are tight on stock motors.as Honda build them for NA.so above 380 whp the k24a2 has risk of blown rings(as they expand with heat),or if the bite the piston and pistons break.
    If motor is very old,like 150k-200k miles old than u can boost it to 500 hp coz rings are worn and loose.

      @dyno5517 3 года назад +5

      6 speed CL9 owner here and also a die hard Honda fan boy. I'll shed a bit more insight on this..
      The USDM TSX is equipped with magnesium transmission cases which are known to have issues with the input shaft bearing becoming loose from the mount being honed out due to the softer metal. Not too many CL9 6 speed TSX's make it far past 100k miles before they start showing signs. Magnesium is around 33% lighter than aluminum.
      I've done extensive research on this topic shortly after picking up my TSX. There are 3 options to resolving the input shaft bearing issues on the CL9 TSX.
      1) Swap the trans with one from a JDM Accord Euro-R (aluminum case just like any other k series transmission). It's a direct swap with no modifications required and comes with a LSD. If you go with this option, you'll need to swap out the original magnesium transmission case bolts with aluminum ones since the original magnesium bolts are threaded in reverse, super funky. Apparently, aluminum and magnesium mixed can cause a chemical reaction which may corrode the metal prematurely. I found it interesting that in every place where there could be contact between the aluminum block and the magnesium transmission case, there was always some type of plastic used to prevent the metals from touching each other.
      This is the easiest option but may cost the most since the ASP3 transmissions are usually fairly expensive. I paid around $1600 for mine around a year ago through a local Honda parts chop shop in southern California. But considering the amount of power you're pushing, this option may be worthwhile for the LSD alone; although I'm not sure how much power it can handle.
      2) Purchase a 5 speed CM7 Accord transmission case and swap out the internals with the TSX. All the mounts will bolt right up.
      3) Install a DC5-S transmission from a k20a2. All but one of the mounts will bolt up. The one that does not bolt up will require welding/minor custom fabrication.
