Nice! I was already using hard flats just because it’s easier to switch to. It bags corner routes and comebacks. I set em to 20 because 30 the corners were getting under him.
That’s where a little bit of switch stick can come in handy. You can also very easily cover it with your user as you know the sideline is completely covered.
I'm confused, can cloud flats guard corners or not? Your 1st example when showing what's wrong, you're using cloud flats saying they wouldn't drop back 30 yrds, but then from 4-3 even 6-1, you kept the cloud flats as is and that time worked.
Cloud flats will drop back 30 yards when backed off. The more nuanced answer though is CFB does not have the base align feature so you wouldn’t want to press anyways as it offers you ZERO value when blitzing. In madden you want to press and the only way to press and have your flats get back into coverage is to use hard flats. I’d also like to mention that if you press in CFB it’s very easy for your opponent to throw a streak for a TD.
It’s not that deep bro…ngl I’ve been using his tips the last 2 years and trust me they work. It’s just a matter of learning how to use this and mix it with other personal schemes. Videos like this shouldn’t be your only scheme especially against experienced players cause not only will they use something like this BETTER than you they’ll switch up to diff formations once you got a feel for that one.
This b useful but pulling up coach adjustments in a ranked match is not ideal with the time clock we got . Specially when the offense hike the ball too fast and yu cant tell ur players what to do
Use 5 yard zone drops for the “curl flats” in the coaching adjustment menu. This will apply to seam flats as well. Curl flats will not cover the flat properly but seam flats will.
@Swolosimo great video as always man. You're my favorite Madden/CFB YTer... Just wondering why not just set Curl flats to 30? Curl flats drop down the field well and apparently they also buffed curl flats last update. Just seems like it would cut down a step to do that vs setting flats to 30 and curl to 5?
I’ve ran the jets playbook for the best month or so. You can run any cover 2 “based defense” for this to work. That is, any Defense where you have 2 halves on the safeties. You can run DB fire or cover 2 hard flat, as long as you make the adjustments shown in this video it will work the same way!
This football game is so fake There's no such thing as zone drops. You shouldn't have to adjust your zones to stay with receivers. The AI should be smart enough to adjust on its own. The computer should be taking the deepest route because it is the biggest threat. So if you have a corner, streak, flat the flat should be left open with other two covered. If they continue to pass to the flat then you call a mable coverage.
The Fs Zone blitz the blitzer comes free like once every 10 times. What am I missing I've done everything step for step yet the videos always say always.
@Swolosimo Yea right hash. Everything. Drives me crazy lol. I haven't tried subbing a player. The rusher just gets picked up my the Oline most of the time. I even try to hover my user in diff spots to try to get their attention instead
For online franchise I believe you can set your audibles in the team schemes menu. Setting them in practice mode won’t save them in game though unfortunately.
No matter your skill level if you get in practice mode for 5-10 minutes you can run this Defense just as good as the pros. It takes 3-4 total adjustments.

Dig routes by the left receiver (square receiver) can feast on this coverage.

Dig routes take a lil time to develop, too.

What playbook is this play in????
Yo Swol, could I run this defensive scheme as Heavy Box Dollar by coming out in Double Safety Go?
Yes u can. However in double safety go, your outside corners are backed up. This means I’d probably use cloud flats on them instead of hard flats.
@@Swolosimo Thanks bro! How about soft squats? Would they work also? With zone drops set?
Unfortunately no :(
Anything that makes you money is never revealed. Especially to your opponents. Cute video but you’re missing a lot of more info.

Like the CFB additions
I did this in practice and it didn’t work for me. I feel like my defense is slacking
6-1 gets beat to hell by jet touch pass of any spread option
It’s a very situational defense
I would use big nickel overg 4-2-5 you can get same pressure and better run fits and over the top protection
The a gap only come in on the right hash quick tip fellas
What playbook ?
Good stuff
Do zone drops stay the same if you audible to a different play or do the reset like when you reset your play
They reset when you reset your play but they stay the same when you audible to a different play.
Why didn't EA put the cover 2 even in any of the playbooks in madden.
This b useful but pulling up coach adjustments in a ranked match is not ideal with the time clock we got . Specially when the offense hike the ball too fast and yu cant tell ur players what to do
For 99% of players you can just set your zone drops and leave them set all game.
Except for the people who have seen this video or so called madden pros
This video is hilarious good shit.
Appreciate you Rich!

Will the 326 work in CFB or does it only work in Madden?
I like Dime 3-2 (formally Dollar) in Madden only. In CFB I use 4-3 even 6-1.
??? If I am going to use seam flats, what coaching adjustments are required? And what is the difference between curl & seam flats?
Use 5 yard zone drops for the “curl flats” in the coaching adjustment menu. This will apply to seam flats as well.
Curl flats will not cover the flat properly but seam flats will.

Pretty good, blitz your outside corner on the side where you think they’re going to run.
