A masterful photographer.
This is a great source of inspiration for me.
What I like best is that his work is never larger than 8" x 8" for an exhibition.
Today's photographers only want more megapixels and very large, bombastic prints.
For me, these are the fireworks photos, a lot of attention for a while and then quickly forgotten.
You will look at a photo of Michael Kenna up close and absorb every tonality in his work.
Then you realize what a masterpiece it is and you will never forget it.
