Female comedy duo Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley have been performing, teaching, and writing comedy internationally for a combined 40+ years. They have been moms for one quarter of that time and it shows. How do they cope? They laugh about all of the craziness that comes with being a mom and they want you to laugh about it too! From snot to stretchmarks to sleepless nights, Kristin and Jen know firsthand that parenting is a hard job and they invite you to join them in taking it all a little less seriously (even if for a few short minutes a day). After all, Jen currently has four days of dry shampoo in her hair and Kristin’s keys are still in her front door. They try, they fail, they support each other, and they mom as hard as they can.
My husband and I are team truck drivers. I am literally a captive audience. Pink Floyd is my nemesis. I am regularly subjected to a listening party of the wall at high volume while he peppers the journey with fun facts about the band and album. Always the same facts mind you. Always.
My husband got me 2 pots for Christmas. We must be really in love ❤😂 I also told him early in our relationship don't buy me flowers that are overpriced for valentines day. I'd rather have the dishwasher unloaded.
Alanis Morissette!!!❤❤❤ I took my husband to her concert last year. 20,000 women all standing, singing every word to every song, remembering the anger of our 20's...and there's my husband awkwardly sitting beside me. Good times.
When I was dating my now ex husband, for our first Valentine's Day he bought me a freaking CACTUS. No lie. I asked him what the heck, and he said cut flowers were a waste of money. I said even dried real flowers would have been better than a cactus. But for him it was all about spending money,; he just didn't get the romantic aspect. 😆 Edit: just so you don't think he's a total tightwad, he did buy me some nice jewelry a few times.
I love Gordon Lightfoot! Losing him and Jimmy Buffett in the same year broke my heart. It was some of the music of my childhood.
