I enjoy seeing a mixture of crafts because that’s what I enjoy also. A bit of everything. The cathedral window pattern is always fun and interesting to see. My daughter (32) and her friend are making crochet granny squares and swapping between just the two of them. My daughter is helping her friend to learn how to crochet. They’ve made me want to make some grannies too. Except now I’ve been influenced to make hexies. 😉 I love the look of hexies whether fabric or yarn. I purchased the magnifying glasses when you showed the difference versions that you have tried. I’ve shared them with my friends so they could also enjoy how much easier It is to embroider etc. Less eye strain means I can stitch longer. Thank you for showing your projects and the tools that you use. 🦩

What a treat for you being able to have time to work on your various projects. We are very alike in that we like to flit between our various crafts. It's nice to mix them up. It looks very cosy in your craft room. Jensen is adorable. It's lucky he's not my grandson, he'd just have to look at me with those big eyes and sweet smile and I'd be putty in his hands. 😁 X

You’ve inspired me to finish the blanket I’m making so I can start the hexagon crochet blanket. My current one is made of Bavarian crochet which is lovely but very large squares. Little hexagons will be a perfect change😊

9:20 re: burying the starting tail... I lay the starting tail over the starting chain and crochet over the chain and the tail at the same time. Then I just snip off the extra tail as it's never going to come unknotted. 💖🌞🌵😷

Well done on finishing your fade cardigan. I have a load of 4ply hand-dyed I will be holding double for a blanket, but not had the opportunity to start it yet. Liz will be busy, hopefully she will be working on Jenson's jumper at our next meet up.

What a lovely cardigan! Just found your channel and have subscribed😊I'm so envious of all your crafting/textiles knowledge and am curious how you've learned it all, did you study it in school or anything?
9:10 I have mixed feelings about joining the hexagons as you go... Yes, it's instant gratification to see your fabric grow, but after a while it gets heavy dragging everything along with you. Which makes the project a stay at home project, whilst if you were to make all the hexis independent then it could be a "to go" project. 💖🌞🌵😷
Lovely video. How do you match an extra ball of yarn as you hand dye the yarn? How do you work out the right amount of dye so it matches what was previously done? You are very clever. I have watched your video in the garage adding dye to the yarn. It all seems so random, thanks
Well, I am hoping you can’t tell too much. I use a recipe with measured amounts of powder but as it is hand dyed it can vary. My idea is to overdye the whole thing if you can tell x x
