    Hi, this electribe units usually gets dirt that make the problem you mentioned, the best way that i sugest is to learn how to open the instrument and clean it yourself. Just be carefull with the plastic that cover the lcd screen (a little tricky) there is the same problem whit the main rotor who tend to skip the parameters etc. Use mild alcohol to clean the lard and debriss of the circuity. DO NOT USE OTHER SOLVENTS like thinner etc. Happy regards from Mexico City. For me this is the best groovebox ever made.

    You can fix the button sensitivity issue my applying electrically conductive paint to the underside of the rubber pads. I did this when restoring a unit 3-4 years ago and I still use it regularly without issue.

    You have different volt on the units. 12v and 9v. Maybe its a mythos but some people say that the 12v unit sounds better.

      Very interesting. Probably requires a test with the very same pattern, and look at the waveforms! There probably IS some slight difference in sound, the question is: does it matter enough to the ear?
