I love Battlesations Midway and Pacific. They were the best naval games in a long time and I am not sure if anything beats them still.

IK, I loved the multiplayer modes as well for Xbox 360. I loved playing against others, especially with the Kongo Class battlecruiser and its massive armaments. I think Japan has my favorite ships as they had the most secondary weaponry .
that mode where you only had the island defenses and you had to do a wave defense was great. another game me and my friends would do is one person would spawn super Yamatos, and the other would try to take them out using only renown class battleships(trash boats).
Lol, I kinda liked the renown, its a ship you need to know how to play perfectly to use it correctly. BTW, I know the anime character that you have as the profile pic, but I forgot the anime name, lol, can you remind me?
we never got to see Tirpitz destroy that fleet
From what I heard, he got murdered in that phase. :) Since then, I have worked on that mission to make it more easier for you guys!

I have this game!! It is really cool but kind of confusing for me to play. But I have no hate towards it, it is very well made for its day.

As an avid fan of Battlestations back in the day, I recommend just playing the first couple of missions in the one player mode over and over until you get used to the damage control systems, setting waypoints and attacking using the RTS map and creating squadrons. If you enjoy the game, play thru the story mode as it is well worth it imho and the multiplayer modes are incredibly fun too.

yup, This was one of my favorite xbox 360 games. I was hoping warthunder ships and world of warships would be modern replacements, but I still like this game better.

The final mission for japan if you get the gold medal you get a kamikaze jet
If you're talking about the Ouka I don't think that's the last mission, but yea its a reward. If you ace both stories you get the top tier jets as a reward. they did that when they shut down the multiplayer servers because that was the only way to get them. I think it was reach level 100 in multiplayer or something like that.
DomeShot159 really? I remember when I had my 360 a while back and this game I was sad because I wanted the jet but I had to get level 100 but no one played online that much anymore
yea, that is why like nobody had them, the only people that played the multiplayer were just people grinding to get it (spawning a bunch of ships to be slaughtered in the middle of the map). so when I got it on PC and beat the Japanese campaign and it just gave it to me I was really surprised.

My favorite map in Battlestations Midway was the carrier only map. The skies would literally fill with waves of planes and thick layers of black smoke.
I was so excited to see you doing a bsp video. I played this game into the ground for years with a clan. We dominated the Xbox 360 community. Some great memories and gaming friendships made that I still maintain today.

I played this and its predecessor so so much. I loved it, the Atlanta was my favorite ship by far. I loved all the strategy and I loved that you could also manually control each craft.

The Battlestations series was incredible... I've spent so much time playing BS:Midway in my childhood :P
I remember when this game came out on xbox gold for fre, it was soo good when tons of people were playing it and the dedicated island hopping servers were still up.
I was working on this game for years as a technical grapics artist. It was fun working on it (also dam hard work). It's nice to see that people are enjoying it after all these years. Thank you guys, you fans are great!
