    I liked this member debate concept. Do more of this stuff, please. Mainstream media should learn how to debate from this stream. Well done 🔥

    In debate
    1) agastya vs spicy
    Agastya made point that in - Nirbhaya Case , convicted were from lower cast that's why they were convicted if they were Brahman they would have been spared but it's not true they were from Upper cast (Mukesh Singh, Vinay Sharma, Akshay Thakur and Pawan Gupta)
    Thank you 🙏

    The problem with this format I have always had is that it only considers 2 perspectives of the for and against and in all the tug of war we don't consider other perspectives or questions eg. The question about 'should we have to assimilate in a new culture?' these are the questions which go beyond knowing others already formed perspectives to exploring a topic together. Creating new possibilities and visions, a space for creativity, to expand ones conscious and think beyond ones comfort zone.

    In the debate of capital punishment , when mr agastya was trying to make a point that carrying out capital punishment makes a society voilent and not doing so makes it less violent and then went on to give example of saudi and norway, he did not explain how the saudi society is voilent or how more crimes are committed in society. No stats or reference was given ,rather it was based on stereotypes.
    Having lived in saudi society , i havent experienced any violence or even petty crimes like pickpocket. Not saying that no crimes happen but to say that just because a law exist makes a society blood thirsty or voilent is wrong.
    Given the corrupt nature of the justice system esp of our country , death penalty shouldnt be used .

      This is exactly what came to my mind! In fact there are stats which prove how saudi as a country is safer than many western and European countries who consider themselves civilized.

    @meghnerd, it would help if each of the debates are organized as youtube chapters.

    If your country is small and has only population of around 1 million or less, import very less and skilled and controlled immigrants.

    This debate & discussion itself a series of political science. Meghnerd is using concept of media literacy to leveraging the thin layer fellow nerds who want platform to rumble their mindset.

    I think poll should be taken both before and after the debate.

    @maghnerd - This is so good! Do this kind of debate. At the end try to add your point as well. And some kind of conclusion for the arguments it will be good i feel

    I hate the word 'Diaspora'.. what does it even mean?

  • @swapnilchandrabhushan2648
    @swapnilchandrabhushan2648 29 дней назад +1

    Diasporas, sometimes referred to as expatriates or transnational communities, play an important role in leveraging migration’s benefits for development.
    Information and media literacy (IML) enables people to show and make informed judgments as users of information and media, as well as to become skillful creators and producers of information and media messages. IML is a combination of information literacy and media literacy. Journalism OP! @meghnads
