    Britain does have a great history after all. Too sad people will never know of these, and will never get to visit them. Some of them are like English versions of the Versailles.

      No, I worked for Lord & Lady Hesketh so lived in the house at the time. My husband was the Butler.

      I'd say some rather than a lot. One big problem is the number of Septics who complain about British narrators, apparently they can't understand them, so someone has to pay the additional cost of over-dubbing. A rather sad example is Sir David's excellent docus.

    It's a shame that the audio seems to have been intentionally cut out. The previous episodes didn't have this disappointing, and ultimately unviewable problem.

    This RUclips mix is a confusing mess! Out of sequence, jumping from one house to another then back. Loss of audio at points. What is going on?
