New Romulan/Reman captain: Your Rassilon playthrough run from May 2013 to February 2014. Thus the newest parts is at least 3 years old. Although some missions have not changed much since then, there are missions that have been drastically changed or revamped. But there have been big overall changes to skills and traits and as you said the Romulan story is a good story. So I suggest that you do a playthrough for all of the Romulan-specific stories. You don't need the cross-factions stories because you have covered them in more recent playthroughs already. I would like it!
I'm in full agreement on this. Also, some of the Romulan missions seem to have dialogue options that lean towards a pro-Tal Shiar angle. Since Brent is planning on going KDF faction with his Reman character, I'd love to see the playthrough using that.
To complete console sets, go for the Tal Shiar Adapted Destroyer and the shrapnel torpedo. To maximize the Indoctrination device, pair it up with a gravity well or similar effect to pull lots of targets into that 3km radius, the damage really adds up.
As far as rep gear, Rom space weapon set is good particularly the console. Crafted level 15 plasma torp torp boosted by console. Nukara deflector/ engines; Terran warp core & Iconian shield currently perform well. Dysen Gravometric torp is most powerful currently. Hope that helps.
This is exciting news! Can't wait to see more Romulan stuff. You might want to pick up D'Vex as a bridge officer since he has pretty good traits. He's available after the Devil's Choice mission, I believe. As far as ships, I'd go with the Tal Shiar Adapted Destroyer (comes with the Universal Enhanced Shrapnel Torpedo Launcher) or Battlecruiser just to stay with the theme of a Liberated Borg and save the Elachi Escort for your tactical Reman character. I'd also go with the Borg or Romulan sets, again purely for thematic reasons.
For your T-6 box I recommend the Cardassian Keldon, it will unlock the Spiralwave disruptor weapons for your character. Allthough the keldon doesn`t have any fancy consoles or T-6 abilities It flies really well and I love the damageoutput with the (Maxxed out) spiralwaves. I`t a pretty strong ship so charging into an enemy fleet BFAWII Blazing it destroys many and almost never dies.
the best way to work reps i have found is to only do one run of most anything you can get a daily bonus on this will let you only need to run 3 pve a day and get enough marks to last all 3 days.
Another good video brother. I'm looking forward to seeing this character develop. Checking the exchange rates, your chronoplasma beam array with a crtdx2 dmg mod goes for 440k EC while an identical coalition disruptor beam goes for 5M EC. You may be better off choosing Coalition Disruptor from your lock boxes, selling them on the Exchange, and then buying the Chronoplasma weapons with the best mods.
Why not try the free sol defense set from "Midnight" it's not the greatest set but the 3 piece does give you Discharge Repair Nani test for a +20K heal and add the Lukari console Protomatter Field Projector for another huge heal both hull and shield. this could help in the short term while you build your rep up and save rep points.
Two comments: 1) Before you spec out of Defensive Maneuvers, please make sure you know what that skill actually does. In past skill tree videos, you have misinterpreted what its for. Defensive Maneuvers raises your defense value, which makes you harder to hit. You say you're going for slow-turning cruisers. I know your playstyle. You're going to mount forward firing weapons, and try to keep the enemy in your forward arc. That means you will sit still and play your ship like a gun turret. You're going to have a negative defense value, and you will be very easy to hit. 2) It's hard to believe you threw away all your other bridge officers. As a Romulan, you should be looking for a trait called Romulan Operative (and preferably, Superior Romulan Operative). It boosts critical hit chance and, to a small extent, critical severity. This trait is the reason Romulans can do more damage than other factions. I know Satra has Romulan Operative as a trait. What you should also be working for is the rare quality male tactical officer from your fleet's Romulan Embassy. He has Superior Romulan Operative as a trait. You can get more than one copy of him, so ideally he will make up all your ship's tactical officers. Romulan Operative is also a captain space trait. When you were showing your traits I saw that you had only the normal version of Operative selected. But as a Romulan, you can have Romulan Operative selected as well.
I would love to see the Keldon review, I know its not as fancy as the others, but there is just something about a good Cardassian ship that I love, plus you dont see many of them around, so it would be awesome to see you give some love to the Cardassians, or are you some Bajoran sympathiser?
Hey Doc i would say get the T'laru and sell it on exchange then buy a ship as that ship goes for around 100m more then rest in that box so you can still get a ship and have some EC best of both worlds hope this helped
Quick question. On Ps4 I have a lvl 60 Romulan and currently am using a T6 Faeht intel Warbird but I plan on buying a Juhael Tactical Carrier Warbird. My only concern is the Scorpion fighters because I don't see any way to get better scorpion fighters then the standard version. Is that going to be a major problem or not?
Reputation Set suggestion: nukara deflektor + engines (2-piece gives 5% category 2 damage bonus) and iconian shield, elite fleet plasma integrated core with amp or the terran core. Get the dynamic power redistributor console from the exchange, it's very good. And if you respec you can put 2 points from capacity into healing (hull and shield) to get better healing (you could also go for tactical ultimate). npc's got their damage buffed with s13 due to new weapon power scaling, so many people have trouble with survivability. For weapon modifiers i would recommend the dmg-mod which is 2.5% final damage bonus (highest category bonus). Since you are an engineer i would recommend the eps overload personal trait from the exchange. I wonder why you are using the dual beam bank up front, i you want to fire it, you won't be able to fire you rear beams, i you broadside to fire your rear beams, it won't fire, so a beam would do more damage than that dbb since it will fire more often. Have fun getting all the gear for your new character :-)
Use the borg set or the full Iconian set. The borg set is a 3 piece and you can use it with your warp core, for more of a "canon" feel. While the Iconian set will give you an increased amount of damage. IMHO, I don't know why everyone likes the Iconian set, but my Delta works fine.
UltimateDoomer1 Everyone LIKED the Iconian set as the metabecause of the quick hot restarts and the 3 pc and 4pc set bonus. Quite a bit of dmg when at full stacks. Now with the nerf, it's not as good as it was, but still pretty decent
Welcome to the game! The short answer is yes. You can get a few if you buy R&D or Duty Office packs from the C-Store but that's not cost effective unless you are super rich. You can buy the ships from the lock boxes on the exchange for energy credits though.
No, that is incorrect. The Dyson Reputation ground set boosts proton damage, not antiproton. The Temporal Reputation ground set boosts antiproton damage. The armor and shield from the current featured episode "Mirrors and Smoke" are pretty good rewards, but that means playing the missions out of sequence. Something I don't know if Brent wants to do. They can be stop gaps until he gets whatever ground rep gear he decides to go with.
-The Enhanced Indoctrination Nanite Dispersal System should be used on a group after using a gravity well, that way it spreads to all the ships caught in the gravity well, then fire off the ,Shrapnel Torpedo Launcher,it's a very powerful combo, firing it at one ship is a complete waste and will not do anything, also when Legacy of Romulas came out you said you were going to roll a Tac Reman,we never got that, and here we are years later and your saying it again....LMAO..are we gonna get the Reman this time🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔,one last thing I know you're a federation guy and that's cool, but your a Romulan can you make New Romulas you HQ instead of earth spacedock👍🙌

I would love to see a Reman run through on the Romulan story line, there is not alot of Romulan STO videos, I have enjoyed all of your videos.
The Keldon class would be a cool review, don't see many of them around.

love to see a full klingon alliance reman let's play. ps love reman ship look
hey Brent. I would recommend going for the iconian or the sol defense. they both compliment cruisers really well
for weapons you're gonna want the rom harness & omega adapted sets but the delta space set for def & speed
The Cardassian, Jem H'adar, or Talk Shiar would be a good fit for an Engineer/ Tact spec'd character.
That Escort seems like it would be fun too

For a ground set, I suggest the dyson set. I like the armor, also the dyson ground shield.
you should use the borg ground set considering she is a lib borg but also the romulan naval set would be cool too.
This is a wonderful new series. Hope everything went okay with the move.
dont forget to claim your temporal agent/delta recruit items
you get the shrapnel launcher console from a tal box (t6 tal ship)
Why not try the free sol defense set from "Midnight" it's not the greatest set but the 3 piece does give you Discharge Repair Nani test for a +20K heal and add the Lukari console Protomatter Field Projector for another huge heal both hull and shield. this could help in the short term while you build your rep up and save rep points.
oh nice build! I love tank builds myself!
How about when you do your romulen Tactical build do a elachi build. Using the elachi weapons and ships.
probably the dreadnought would be the best.

Nice video Brent! Please do a review of the upcoming Vorgon RynKodan carrier when you get it. Thank you!
I would suggest using some of the task force omega gear. You've already got borg stuff, so why not keep with the theme?
Also, get the Kelvin timeline warbird, keeping with the romulan theme.
I would love to see the Keldon review, I know its not as fancy as the others, but there is just something about a good Cardassian ship that I love, plus you dont see many of them around, so it would be awesome to see you give some love to the Cardassians, or are you some Bajoran sympathiser?

Was wondering is you can review more romulan ships ie the Delta Rising ships..ty
Brent Justice, have you ever made a video showing character creation and advancement of a *Romulan* before?
Yeah he has, there is an entire playthrough of the romulan storyline.
Thank you, I just couldn't find the the vids yet, only the Fed vids. :-)

What Profession is, Amy Pond.? Best Regards Per.! :-)
Will we see another Lets Play at some point on free to play?
Go with delta and 8472 rep
click on the “Dilithium Store“ and claim the already unlocked “starship traits“
Does someone know a fast way on how to get fleet ship moduels
Use real money to buy Zen, then use that Zen to purchase ship modules from the C-Store.
STO newb question: Are lockboxes the only way to get Lobi crystals?
Welcome to the game! The short answer is yes. You can get a few if you buy R&D or Duty Office packs from the C-Store but that's not cost effective unless you are super rich. You can buy the ships from the lock boxes on the exchange for energy credits though.
Borg set
Ideas for Rep maybe look at voth Rep as I believe that one is anti proton
No, that is incorrect. The Dyson Reputation ground set boosts proton damage, not antiproton. The Temporal Reputation ground set boosts antiproton damage.
