I really love Surgical Strikes 3 ships. That's what i run for mains. I have some CSVs also. But I love the Son'a Battle cruiser, good looking ship and a 5/3 SS3. I also have the Vengence and the Maquis Raider.
@@Nic_NB Ah silly me. I used Search to find key words like "Kelvin" and "Vengence", which returned nada. Of course when I searched "Intel Dreadnought" there it was clear as day. That'll teach me, I guess. 😏 -- To be clear, any sarcasm or derision you may be sensing is directed towards Cryptic's as-usual-top-notch features and naming conventions. Sigh. To you I only send gratitude and appreciation. Thanks! Got me a new ship to try out.😁
I really like the Vengeance. Very capable, looks pretty good, and remarkably cheap on the Exchange. Usually going for 220 to 250M. 👍 And I do really like the look of the Kelvin Phaser beam arrays. Sadly they only come in beam arrays and not dual beam bank or cannons.
Congratz on 1k+ subs. Disagree with you on the Son'a Intel Battlecruiser, it a good ship for a SS build or CSV, with its high inertia rating of 60(most other BC have between 30 and 50) and Impulse of 0.18 which is really high, it really only lacking in turn rate and the can be solved in multiple ways now. Since Withering Barrage is so easy to get it on some many ship and it basically free and one of the best firing modes, I really hope that an event ship or C-Store ship comes out with the same beam overload extension trait so there are multi ways of getting it since it really expensive and having a cheap and easy way of getting would not break the game.
I have the vengeance. Probably my favorite ship. Spent a lot of money on that character getting the traits and consoles I needed to deck it out. As well as the watcher bofs. Need to get that parser up so I can see what I'm doing in damage now
I have a kelvin Connie that runs all kelvin weapons, my thoughts are i wouldn't run them on any build other then kelvin theme builds they aren't the best weapons for damage purposes.
with the event campaign giving everyone 1500 lobi and the ships not being bound means you could do the Campaign on an alt account and send several of these ships over to your main when there's a Lobi sale
For the amount of boxes you have to open to get 900 Lobi, Lobi ships are remarkably cheap on the Exchange. But then again the high rollers probably just see Lobi as trash since you get some every time you open boxes.
The only thing I would warn players about is to check the faction restrictions on any ship you plan to buy. Some of the old lobi ships do not support cross faction flying the vengeance is a good example of this it can only be flown by a pure fed character not a Romulan fed or fed aligned jem'hadar.
I did grab the inquiry when it was offered for Lobi, which was kind of a waste of Lobi because then relatively soon after they made the legendary one! I should have held on to my Lobi. 😐
I mean given we get 500 now and 1500 at the end of the event campaign think the two honorable mentions are far more tempting since over buying a legendary ship Also don't care if the the Vengeance is the best ship in the game period still is a flying bottle opener from a terrible movie so I'm gonna give it a hard pass
The Vengeance is the coolest looking ship in Star Trek, while in contrast, the Enterprise J is the biggest abomination in Star Trek history, one of the reasons I hate the Star Trek Enterprise TV show
I mean you think the flying bottle opener is good looking so I find your taste questionable more so since well JJ Trek is active insult to the IP same with Kurtzman's unending barrage of bad shows
@@Zyklon_B_still_and_know_God look the USS Pancake is a silly looking ship but you can at least it looks Trek the USS Bottle Opener along with Battlegroup Flying Geometry Kurtz look like someone made Star Trek ships but Star Wars
Another great informational vid. Only problem is, I now realise that I need a ton more ships for traits :D

Nice video and I see the magic 1K showing - well done sir!
The vengeance and the ghemor are two ships that have benefited greatly from changes over the last few years.
Yeah it’s cool some old favs are back on top with the new pets
Thanks for this video. I appreciate the breakdown. Is it just me or was the Vengence removed from the Lobi Store?
Shouldn’t be, look for intel dreadnought

So you're saying the Vengeance is back with a vengeance?
Yup
Kelvin Intel Dread (Vengeance) is the best. Full Stop.

informative as enjoyable as the streams. thanks for the summary video!
I'm thinking on getting the Vengeance and the Xindi-Primate Ateleth with the Lobi from the current event campaign.
Excellent vid! Its nice to see some old favorites back in favor. Lots of good info her.

nice shoutouts
I have a serious question: I have a couple of those current lobi ships, from before they were T6-X. Are those able to be upgrade to T6-X for free?
Nope unfortunately
@@Nic_NB That's a shame.
Only other Id suggest is the tal shiar for Assimilated Power Conduits
The raider turned up in TNG first...
Fantastic vid with great explanations to your reasonings!
How does the vengeance fare with its kelvin weapons Nic? Or have you tried it?

(late) congrats to 1k subs! well deserved
Thanks :)

Because of ISOMAGs, I believe the Lobi Walker is better than the Legendary Walker. The Stats on the Lobi Walker look so much better.
Personally I'm not chasing _MAX DEEPS!_ so I'm not buying any single character ship just for a trait or console.
The vengeance is a banger

So when is the 1,000 key video dropping?

I do love the Vengeance.
1K! 🎉
i like my husnock but i use csv on it :P
Csv is the better firing mode overall
you said, willy...ahak ahak ahak...
I get ships Cuz I like them I now one of y'all who get A WHOLE SHIP.... JUST for a part of it🤣😂🤣😂

I didn't like it but it's grown on me in STO. it's just so massive which is pretty cool
