I'd have to do some research on this as not sure if they trickle charge once fully charge, its probably fine now and then but I wouldn't do it all the time to avoid long term damage to the battery.
Would need a bit more information to be able to help you. Which game? Most games have a setting inside the game itself for Dialog sound, usually noting to do with the headset.
