      Domination is great, and all these guys are going to want to see the live Moscow performance.... but, in my opinion, the studio version of almost all Metal songs are superior. The studio version of the breakdown at the end of Domination blows the Moscow show out of the water.

    • @leftinashes
      @leftinashes 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@captzero007 - I have to agree with you regarding the breakdown of Domination. Since Dime was the only guitarist in the band they would layer up guitar tracks and make use of Left and Right Stereo channels. In Domination the guitar pans from the Left and Right channels and you can really hear it when using headphones.

    • @PriestessOfNothing
      @PriestessOfNothing 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@captzero007 totally agree. Sometimes you have to listen the album versions to get the gravity of the situation. And that breakdown is such an important part of the song.

    Damn fine reaction to a dumb fine pure metal band. Both the Abbott Brothers tragically lost their lives, way too early.RIP to both, and of course, the break-up of Pantera was wrought with turmoil. Sometimes however, inspiration can come out of tragedy. I'm going to request that you,MB, watch and react to the live version of "In This River" by Black Label Society. Zakk Wylde is the real deal,and wrote this song ABOUT and for Dimebag, which he and Dime were best of friends, and supported each other's bands throughly. Make sure it's from "The European Invasion Doom Troopin' Live" You're going to FEEL the emotion emulating from Zakk with his next level guitar playing! Guaranteed goosebumps, especially reacting to BLS for the first time, you'll be blown away, and I for one can't wait to see your jaw-dropped reaction, enjoy! BTW, I just stumbled on to your YT channel, and I'm really digging your reactions. Newly subscribed too,mos Def. 👍🤘👌✌

    Pantera got heavier and heavier on each album after Phil Anselmo joined. His first album with them which was the album before the one this song is on is more like judas priest. You should react to power metal or death trap by pantera and then you can hear their full evolution from the beginning of Pantera as people know it. We later used to hang out in the bar where this video was filmed, The Basement. Legendary stuff went on there at the hands of Pantera and their followers and we loved every minute of it!! I’m obsessed with pantera and dimebag and i play guitar which enables me to see just how unique and crazy dime was. I really love Metallica as well and I saw them live for my 10th birthday in 2017 which was amazing, but there’s just something about pantera which is so badass, Metallica is like Spider-Man and pantera is like Batman that’s how I can describe it😂😂. It’s very sad that I will never be able to see them live with dime.

    pantera has such a heavy fkn groove!! I noticed some people commenting what to react to, but one you can listen to yourself (of course also react to) is 10s off the album the great southern trendkill. for me personally the single greatest ever written guitar solo in heavy metal. I know alot of people will disagree and say its the solo from floods but its just my personal opinion.

    Im Broken, Domination Live (1991), Floods, 5 Minutes Alone, Drag The Waters, Psycho Holiday, A New Level, Throes of Rejection, Strength Beyond Strength, and 10's are an absolute must !! I could go on and on. You have a lot to discover of Pantera. From Cowboys From Hell to Reinventing The Steel is a must listen.

    I like Metallica, but Pantera is my favorite band of all time! I'm Broken, 5 Minutes Alone, Primal Concrete Sledge, Mouth For War.

    Since the struggle is between Metallica and Pantera, and you’ve already done a Metallica live at Moscow reaction, next up is “Domination”. Same show. Epic solo.

    My dude, on your journey through the universe that is all things metal, which begins with Black Sabbath and bands like Zeppelin, Pentagram, etc. You're going to find there's a lot of genres and styles. Some you'll love and some not so much; however, It's more about the journey than the genre. Your reactions genuinely make me re appreciate the music I've loved for so many years! ✌️

    You should see video 1990 Moscow with almost 2 million in the crowd. We marched into Baghdad to Pantera blasting, scared the shit out of the population.
