Not yet. But Logitech and other creators will soon offer a marketplace, where you can download console templates for free. If only 1 DaVinci user creates a template and offers it there, it will be accessible for everyone 🙌🏼
If this is like the Loupedeck, hopefully it will allow assigning keyboard shortcuts to the buttons. I had to do that with my Loupedeck for Davinci Resolve. However, this looks pretty good and might replace the loupedeck.
@@AmahriHowland Yes sure, you can still add DaVinci shortcuts to different keys on your MX Creative Console. You can even design the buttons with custom icons and text and colors.
Your video got me really hyped! Tomorrow i will receive mine :D I did not expect it to be so much better then my expectations! Keep on the quality content!
Still using my Logitech G-13 one-hand gaming keyboard for audio editing. I can program 29 shortcuts into EACH of the three M buttons. That 87 shortcuts per profile. It's ergonomic, and super durable; I've been using it for six years. When they discontinued it I bought two more.
Interesting commercial, though it's worth noting that the product bears a strong resemblance to the Stream Deck by Elgato and Monogram’s offerings. It's surprising this wasn’t mentioned, but if it's a sponsored ad, it's understandable why that detail might be overlooked.
Maybe the creator updated the description later but the description says "This video was sponsored by Logitech" although I know US creators are requred to say it in the video also (if this guy were US)
For me, the timing of this video couldn't be better 🤣 My Logitech CRAFT Keyboard just stopped working and I loved to have its dial wheel for editing. So now, I can end up with a simpler keyboard and just add this console for even better efficiency!! 💪 Do you know whether there is or will be a plug-in for Davinci Resolve?
Not yet, but Logitech is working on integrations more and more apps like this over time. But by now, you can already use it by applying the usual Final Cut shortcuts to the buttons.
How does it behave in Photoshop workspaces, for example "Select and Mask" (where shortcut "J" does something different than in Photoshop itself) , or in Camera Raw, where shortcuts are totally different?
Thanks for the introduction to MX Creative Console. Are other photo programs such as Luminar supported? Not everyone has Adobe programs! As with the X idea of the Costolo, this is an issue at all.
I edit my videos on a MacBook, but I don't have any accessories yet. What is worth getting first? An additional SSD or the MX Creative Console or something completely different? I have no idea..
If you need more space for your current projects, an additional SSD will be good. But if you only need space for backing up projects, you can get a cheaper HDD. So make sure to have enough space. And then, the MX Creative Console is the perfect addition to add fun & productivity 🔥
Thank you! You can use it with the Figma shortcuts. The full integration - which means a dedicated Figma profile for the MX Creative Console - is planned for the future
The shortcuts already do. And deeper integration into DaVinci Resolve will follow soon. And for your 2nd question, let‘s ask ChatGPT: „Adobe Creative Cloud had reported 30+ million active users overall, and Premiere Pro is one of its flagship products„
I’m really trying to wrap my head around the pricing so it’s $199 with three months of Adobe Creative Cloud … which costs $90 a month so this thing is not just free it saves you $70 on your subscription? I’m definitely getting one at that price.
How have you never used a tool like this before? This isn't revolutionary, it's oldschool. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying the way you're pitching it is surprising because most pro editors would have used tools like this if not used them entirely prior to the rise of NLE's.
@@MatthiasDangl Loupedeck hardware is really stunning. Software is really catastrophic... I'm sorry that Logitech didn't take matters into their own hands regarding the Loupedeck software.
The keyboard shortcuts CTRL+ and CTRL- (for step-by-step zooming) does not work (rotary roller, top right) with my German Apple Magic Keyboard because the MX Creative Console software expects an English QWERTY key assignment. CTRL- becomes CTRL / and CTRL+ becomes CTRL =. So for me, this thing is just a very expensive paperweight or simply electronic waste, because as a photographer and graphic designer I can’t work without step-by-step zooming, because I won't let Adobe turn me into a subscription (be-in-debt) slave. But there are no profiles for other programs (for MacOS). You have to put everything together yourself in time-consuming and laborious detail work. For me, the MX Creative Console is a brilliant idea, but a completely unfinished product. The market launch should have taken place in one or two years at the earliest, as soon as everything is fully developed and the software manufacturers have developed well thought-out profiles and plug-ins for it. For the time being, I do not recommend buying it.
I’ve sent mine back. It’s way too buggy and feels like a beta product. Of course, it will improve over time, but if it comes out of the box feeling unfinished, then I don’t want it. As Marques always says: Never. Ever. Buy a tech product based on the promise of future software updates!
For those of us who have escaped Adobe, is there a pre-existing template for DaVinci Resolve?
that's a great question!

Now that’s a timing! They told me, that they plan to work with Blackmagic on a plugin 🔥
Same for me 😊
very good content man, why dont you have more views? like at least 2-3k
Nice but, will it integrate with DaVinci Resolve, Studio and if so, is it of any practical benefit?
Yes, they are working on it. But by now, you can already use it by applying the usual DaVinci Resolve shortcuts to the buttons.

What about Apple Final Cut?
Really cool about MX creative console, macros work almost instantly and without any delay that's like wowwwwwwwwwwww!
Of course they do 💪🏼
Amazing 🤩
Right?! 🔥
Thank for the overview. Do you know by any chance if the keypad works if you use an USB-C to USB-A adapter?
