But it costs the double, is less premium than the Loupedeck after all I read, and has limits in controls or buttons. Who, except the Logitech-Community, should buy this too-late-competitor?
It doesn't have a plugin profile right now so you'll either have to wait until someone or logitech creates one on the marketplace (prob won't take long before another user does), or you can create one manually yourself
You can always create shortcuts manually for LR CC but I think Adobe is pitching that mostly towards mobile editing so I think that's why we haven't seen an initial focus on preconfigured plugins for that yet
Please ask Logitech to add fix the keyboard you have. 1fix the size of esc to be normal so f keys are at its normal location. 2 add property key next to the right ctrl. 3 add spaces between the f4 and f5 and f8 and f9
Haha...will do. What do you use the F keys for? I typically only use them for shortcuts so having them not centered has never bothered me. I think they do it this way so they can right align the f12 key with delete
Logitech actually owns Loupedeck now so that's interesting. Does this also work with FCPX?
It doesn't have a plugin profile right now so you'll either have to wait until someone or logitech creates one on the marketplace (prob won't take long before another user does), or you can create one manually yourself
Do you know if Lightroom (non-classic) is on the roadmap?
You can always create shortcuts manually for LR CC but I think Adobe is pitching that mostly towards mobile editing so I think that's why we haven't seen an initial focus on preconfigured plugins for that yet
@@learningcameras I'm also not seeing any other deck console that has native support so it might just not be exposed with an api
@@gharel396 good call! Very likely
How would you compare this to the Loupedeck live?
Logitech actually owns Loupedeck now so that's interesting. I haven't used it but to me it looks like a nice computer interface for shortcuts and custom functions but it lacks the integration portion with the dial for using it inside of programs like lightroom. If you do editing, I'd say the logitech has the advantage with the wireless dial in addition to the interface and if you use Adobe, just get the Logitech because of the 3 months free
@@learningcameras Thank you it's already in the cart LOL!
@@AmahriHowland hahaha...enjoy!
@@learningcameras Sry, but this answer is simply wrong and bases on pure suppositions or why you think all loupedecks have multiple dials, alone concerning the hardware? Do you even know, from what point of view the Loupedeck has been developed? Reading from top to bottom of your given answers reduces your review more and more to that, what it is: Advertisement.
@@fussnote1758 The comment specifically asked about the Loupedeck live...that's why my answer was related to that specific product. I'm not a loupedeck rep so I'm not trying to recommend a specific product from them...nor do I get paid if you purchase a Logitech product so I don't know what you are suggesting. While I don't have the loupedeck live, I have 3 different products like this (which I showed off in this video) and the Logitech was the first to have tight integration with Adobe products which is what I use for editing which with the 3 months free makes it an easy to recommend device for Adobe users which is all I said.
Kind of a shame that one of them has a cable attached… any reason why they couldn’t both be Bluetooth devices?
It's mostly a battery life issue. The keypad has an lcd screen so it draws much more power the dial. Making it battery power would be more expensive, add weight, and it would need to be charged every few hours if you wanted to keep the display always on
The answer is: There are enlightened buttons which consume to much energy!?
Does it havev an onboard memory?
Don't think so...I think all the profiles are stored in the software
Software looks suspiciously like Loupdeck😆
Logitech actually owns Loupedeck so probably not all that suspicious lol. Apparently a year ago they were acquired
There is no davinci resolve?
Not built in as of now. You can configure shortcuts manually to the device
If you already have Adobe monthly subscription..does it give you a code so Adobe knows not to charge the monthly fee for 3 months?..lol
It works for existing users so it will! Not sure if they just add 3 months to your existing subscription or promo 3 months but it does work for existing users
Hi. Can you please tell me what kind of speakers do you have? Thanks.
I use these and highly recommend them: bhpho.to/4ecDCgP

Ah - Logitech, can't use it anyway...
Why?
@@learningcameras Logitech is known for lack of support outside the Win/Mac universe.
Did I miss how much $$$$ ??
It's $200 with 3 months of free Adobe Creative Cloud. I don't always say the amount in the video because sometimes the price can change pretty quickly on new products like this
@learningcameras Thanks for reply. I will look into this.
18 minutes of bla bla... Would have been more interesting to see you working with it.
