I used to paint for many years. You should have sprayed down the whole carport area with a water hose beforehand. It will catch all the dust and dirt and keep it out of the paint. Works amazingly well.
As soon as you get the 240 back work on getting taillights!! Or something that’s going to give it something unique that stands out more then any other 240
