I always use a plate or anything flat. Another tip is to use bubble wrap. Aluminum bubble wrap lasts forever. I use it every water change. It floats on top and helps to keep the sand from being disturbed.. especially useful for large water changes!
@@TobiasHolenstein My oldest one is 3 years. Best advice is to clean the motor where the impeller goes every few months. Also relubricate the o-ring where the motor seals.

My gourami (big three dot gourami) is chasing other gourami ( small three dot gourami)what should I do? I kept them with 2 Zebra loaches....And i think i am kind of giving them less food because sometimes i think if i accidentally give more food they will die plzz reply 🙏 Tank size - 1 foot tank
Hi, so I don't have personal experience with these fish, but from what I know, gourami's are territorial fish and I think you should really probably only have one in a tank. It might be possible to have more than one in a larger tank with more decorations and hiding places, but personally I have never done this. As far as feeding goes, try to feed them an amount that they will be able to finish within 5 minutes

Cheapest I ever found ohko and seiryu stone is on etsy. 1 dollar per pound. You have to shop around to find it but they usually have it!
