I loved this store so much as a kid, My dad would occasionally drive an hour just to take me there on Saturdays, It was so cool just to see new tech on display and just hang out, I did buy the majority of the parts for my 2014 and 2018 PC builds there, And the last time I walked into that store was probably early 2019. Can't believe that was almost 5 years ago. Thank you so much for uploading this piece of nostalgia.
Thank you so much for posting this! I used to come to this Fry's all the time when I was a kid and it sucks that the closed down! Never thought I'd be able to see the inside of the store ever again.
I wish I would have done this at my store in Austin, Texas. It surprised me how quickly the traffic inside the stores slowed down. I remember as late as 2018/2019 Fry's was always busy, especially on the weekend. I think the 2018 Holiday season did them in, that's when you could really tell they weren't restocking and people kind of stopped shopping after that. A lot of people also didn't understand their promocode business model. The Austin store had a very cool music theme with a big piano as the doorway when you walked in. Sad to see them go!
I love this store so much. Really sad it closed. But hey, maybe it will become a micro center

Man I remember going here with my dad all the time back then.
This place was so busy and bustling back in its heyday, especially when they first opened. I really liked this store. :(

Very nice pretty
I remember coming here with my Dad alot before I moved, I even went a few times with my Mom as well.
Kinda a shame they closed down.
I used to go to the Fry's in Sacramento in the early 2000s. It was always packed with customers, sad that it's gone.

Fry's Electronics in Renton is gonna become a WinCo Foods grocery store.
My local Fry's in Burbank looked the same way for years. That used to be such a friggin' cool store to go to.
What kind of lights are in the highbays?
These are metal halide. Not sure if they are pulse or probe start however some fixtures do have backup halogen bulbs in them as well.
@@Mercovay thanks for the reply. Great video!
