My husband and I bred African parrot species (and lorikeets from the Austro-Pacific region: nectar feeders) for 40 years and gae tgem a very varied diet including a lunvhyime special with chopped apple, grated carrot and beetroot, celery chopped and a small quantity of sprouted sunflower seed in addition to their normal pelletised food. They all did very well on this diet. Often think our animals often gefvfed betterbthan their owners!

My kunekune loved citrus, mainly lemons and grapefruit, oranges not as partial. Thought I'd mention that corn cobs can be quite dangerous for pigs as they can't digest the cob it can get stuck in their gut.
