- I have been using this Tuff Stuff Overland Elite Tent for 1 full year and in this video I go over the pros and cons on the tent! I also give you all an update on my JK Rubicon axle swap for my 1996 jeep cherokee build.

Can you show your rack and roof rail attachment system?

Can you do a video on your rack and mounts? What you use and why.
It’s a big ask but can you show or describe how you get the tent on and off the rack? Something that heavy would require a Lully system or a few people. Those videos would be really helpful I believe.

Thanks for the video. I am looking at the Elite and Ranger. You mentioned the elite weighs 275 lbs in the video, but on the Tuff Stuff website, they list the Elite at 185 lbs. That's quite a difference.

Great video, I was surprised at how heavy that tent is. How does that compare to other RTTs on the market? How does it affect the vehicle while you're on a trail?
Yea it’s pretty heavy! I feel like it drives good considering the weight and on trail it’s hard to get flexy with the tent on for sure lol
Also what's it like in extreme cold weather conditions?
I would like to have a RTT for my 99 Cherokee but I wouldnt be able to get it in my garage. Nice rig!

I have a 1993 mitsubishi pajero. Would i need to upgrade my roof racks and suspension for one of these Tents?
I'm in the market for a large tent for my family. Like you said there are a lot of tent out there. Any recommendations? I need it to be strong and to last in hot weather and stormy weather. My vehicle will be able to handle the weight.
Check out hills off-road gear I used one of there tents and it’s about the same size but half the weight and it’s really nice!

Yea we kept a good amount in there at all times
How hard is it getting the pups in and out ?
Did you say 275lbs? It’s listed as 185lbs on Tuff Stuff’s site. Did they shave off 90lbs with a newer version of the Elite?
It’s possible I thought for sure it used to say 275, I bought this a few about a year an a half ago. They may have shaved some weight off the newer ones.
