hey dale!! i am doing the exact same thing, i think. i've bought a little bit of stuff here and there. i thought today was gonna be the day for pour #1. but not quite yet. i don't want to start without the supplies to do something cool. i've waited this long. what's a few more weeks? i went to temu and got a bunch of the stuff i needed. i've had good luck with temu. so cheap and free shipping!
I object to you sounding like you are apologising for having a “play” or “experiment”. Absolutely no need to sound anything other than proud. Some of my favourite video’s of yours are from you doing this. We not only get to live vicariously through you, but also can be left with new things that we want to try because of your play. Keep your head high Steve. 😁
I just love that Steve. It came out so well. Maybe if you make another one, drizzle gold down the sides so that when it's cured it will have a golden edging on it. What do you think? Does that sound like it would work? Hope you are keeping cool on this hot day. God bless you and your family.
Steve! thank you for all your tips n tricks! i have learned so much. My resin journey has been short but ...wow im obsessed! i hope you got my paypal donation friend! thank you again Steve
This would have been a great jubilee tray at a garden party. I really love it. I just love the fact with resin you really don’t know what will happen. Fantastic result. 🌺🌺🌺🌺
Hi Steve, I will admit & I don’t know why, but I was dubious about this, especially when you went into autopilot making basic flower shapes that you did not intend to do. But boy, I am so happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised by how this turned out. It came out amazing. It even looked a bit shimmery below the surface when the lights of the surface. Amazing!
HI Steve, I most definitely gave you a BIG 👍 UP WOW my goodness I absolutely fell in love with your pretty tray loved your colour combinations so super cool looking thanks for sharing Lin 👍🦋
I have seen others do resin projects similar to this, but using alcohol ink and white resin. That method makes amazing flower patterns!! I love the marbled effect in your project!!!
Steve, I 💕💕 this tray!! I have that mold,. (used your link to get it ,thank you). I have made a few things with it but I want to try this and the alcohol inks too. Great video, wonderful project and the perfect funny host. Love you Steve 😘💯🙏
I’m shocked! 😂 It turned out so pretty! I didn’t expect that. Now I feel bad for doubting you on this one. I should have known. Thanks, Steve! I always learn something from your videos.
I love it and if you were in Central Florida it would sell amazingly because of the University of Florida colors being blue and orange... absolutely love this
I do the same thing but without the mess of the piping bags. I use a little cup that has a little spout and pour it basically the same all random. I don't understand why you would need the piping bags for this. I do like the end result but can do this without the mess that I get with the bags!
I *love* that mold, Steve, and the tray is AWESOME!! ⭐ I've not tried that method on such a big project, but I sure wouldn't mind having a go at it! It sort of looks like an acrylic paint dirty pour with balloon kisses! 😊
I use that method with uv resin. of course you have to be careful with the heatgun and it does not flow that much, but therefore you can see more of the pattern
Love the results but Im wondering if its what you were expecting? Curious just because you kinda drew flowers so I wasn't sure if you wanted those shapes to stay. 🤔👍
That's fascinating, and such an attractive effective for a tray. Really interesting too, how the red moved from being the last thing added to being the uppermost colour when you unmoulded. Such a lovely piece!
Hey love, Thank you for making this gorgeous tray for the celebration of the 4th of July in America?! I did notice something I go through, when it's not quite hard yet once it's been a 22 hrs and my piece still moves about. Do you think I needed to allow it to set more? I live in a very humid climate and I think that has a lot to do with the curing process...? Thank you so much! We love your channel!
Love, love this project, I’m kind of new to resin, and I have this same mold, but mine came out kind of flimsy and even after months, it never hardened enough to be useable. I’ve done quite a few other molds and they hardened just fine. Oh where oh where have I gone wrong? Thanks Steve, always love your videos! Marilyn
I think perhaps the word you were searching for Steve was "flamboyant" - and yes, quite a flamboyant design - very patriotic, red, white and blue'ish almost 😁
I saw a video of someone fixing things with ramen, and they did a test of mixing baking soda and super glue together and was wondering if this could be a resin replacement? Or add some detail to resin pieces.
Hi Steve, in your extensive experience do you have a suggestion as to which type of hand protection is best when working with resin? I’m just starting out. Be it rubber, vinyl, or other? Thanks for the insight. I have no allergies to any of those materials. Also, are KN 95’s enough with a fan or do you recommend a filtration mask?
Can I ask a question please. Do you sell your resin pieces and do they sell well? I have started to make items and need a bit of advice as to selling them. Thanks heaps Dawn for New Zealand
Steve, this tray is so cool. I’m collecting my supplies for resin art & almost ready to give it a go. Thanks for sharing.

That turned out really cool! I didn't expect it to come out looking marbled like it did. Love it!
With the piping bag instead of cuttng the tip, try poking a hole with a thick darning needle instead for a different effect
Very pretty.... BUT NO GLITTERS?? WHAT IS WRONG WITH STEVE??? love the colors.
Stay safe, you do you, and stay creatively crafty!! 👍👍🔔🔔🦋🦋

Oooohhh this piece would really look nice with a touch of gold or silver in the edges. Not that it's not splendid as is.
Steve! thank you for all your tips n tricks! i have learned so much. My resin journey has been short but ...wow im obsessed! i hope you got my paypal donation friend! thank you again Steve

Do you sell your art/craft work? Just curious. I'm new to your channel. I love the resin trinket boxes with lids.
I saw a video of someone fixing things with ramen, and they did a test of mixing baking soda and super glue together and was wondering if this could be a resin replacement? Or add some detail to resin pieces.
Would be good for the fourth of July
I love itt... its new tecniks

Will it hurt your mold if you leave it in there for seventy two hours.
Lovely!!
Love it!!
Very Nice 👍
Can I ask a question please. Do you sell your resin pieces and do they sell well? I have started to make items and need a bit of advice as to selling them. Thanks heaps Dawn for New Zealand
