Love Capitec. We have been with the bank for at least 12/13 years and have been very happy. Friendly very well trained staff, NO queues and great service. Also every now and then, a nice surprise in something new. I remember when Classic FM was still on air, they had Gerrie quite often on air and they always referred to Capitec as 'A Fairytale Story'! Blessings and thank you Gerrie for sharing!🕯🕯🕯
There are 5 Capitec branches within a short distance from my home, and I rarely wait more than a few minutes to see a consultant. Their branches are neat and serviceable without needing regular upgrades of prestigious furniture and fittings. I recently went to my previous bank, only one branch in a huge mall 10 Kms away, a substantial walk from the carpark before joining a long queue and then paying a large parking fee. I will stay with Capitec.
All staff trained well. I never wait long for service. Friendly service when asking for help, f .i.small loan. Always open doors on correct time. The electronic recognising far better than other businesses, f.i. 'no fingerprints' which many older people experience. I appreciate sitting down while waiting
lol because our people are indoctrinated to invest their time in entertainment, mgosi, mjolo and partying. Negativity gets a lot of attention, things that empower and uplift don't entertain them. If you can upload a video titled "Bonang is dating Dj Maphorisa" yeeeeer you'll get 200k views within 3hrs. This is sad.
Because South African youth is consumed by regressive affinity to popular culture and does not realize the importance of such engagements on their lives.
Great success story. Would love to hear more of these. Can you also get successful business people on to tell us their top 10 or 5 business tips please
My question why only black people in the bank? Working! What about white people working in the bank, while we are banking in Capitec bank!! I would appreciate an answer ,
I appreciate what mr. Gerrie Fourie has to share with us here. However, may I ask him to please look into his bank customer care service. This has become more and more difficult to access in a meaningful way due to Capitec personnel being unable to pronounce their words in a consistent and coherent way (in English) during a telephone conversation. This type of service more often than not, results in huge inconveniences, especially if clients live far away from their branch...one has to drive to the branch and sort out the problem face to face with customer service personnel there. For example...a client service personnel eating while speaking and another time, having a conversation with someone else in the back ground in a manner as not to focus on the query...but in general the pronunciation of words is not clear.
@@angiemac8066 Where have you been hiding buddy? Sustainability reporting has been in SA and globally probably probably since the early 2000s. It’s actually a JSE regulation through King IV. Companies are required to report on this in their AFS. Demonstrating that they are also a good corporate citizen. Give it a read. Might learn something.
Disagree with you on your culture in Capitec. There is a huge disconnect between Capitec callcenters and the Capitec Branches. Thank goodness for your Branches there customer service is very good.

My question why only black people in the bank? Working! What about white people working in the bank, while we are banking in Capitec bank!! I would appreciate an answer ,
If you live in SA then you already know the answer..
We have had a white person in our branch. They apparently move around.
I bank with Capitec, I am white. Best service ever
That's not true there are all races in branches. But also consider ratio of the population
Capitec amazing growth story. They must get into Asset management.

There are white staff in branches
I would be very interested to see how much Capitec invests back in these communities apart from employment.
Why? We see it daily in our bank charges. Stop being ungrateful!

Oh I cannot agree more. The call centres are useless.
I have always wanted to know the backstory of their growth.
Albertinia het slegs een bank. Die dorp brei geweldig uit. Hoe lyk dit...?
2000 transactions per second. Now multiply that by 60 seconds.
