Carry you rods facing backwards. It's the way we do it in the thick brush in Alaska and works great.

That’s probably the toughest area to fish in Tampa Bay. Glad to see you got bit at least 👍. The flats north of the Courtney Campbell boat ramp at the mouth of creek openings are great spots in the upper bay.

Thats actually the 1st place i ever fished in Tampa Bay, havent been back since. I will for sure head back that way soon!
