This scenario is unrealistic, I’m not anywhere to be seen out of a window, flailing my arms like an idiot.
The scenario is realistic because it happened when the great Yarmouth airshow was going

Just as I return to work for 4 months away from my PC this comes out! Great! Fantastic looking pack though can’t wait to get it, it’s definitely what the loco needs

I do agree with whoever said that the 170 pack was rushed. Ap have only touched the tip of the iceberg with it, for example we can't drive 170/1s and 168/1s with it because they didn't model a version for xc or chiltern that features the full wind buffs on the front, which are like panels either side of the coupling. Also, they didn't do any 168/0 which is very different in appearance, which are very prominent on the Chiltern mainline and Cherwell valley line. All over, the 170 was very rushed and very poorly done in my opinion. Also like ur little slip up with the 170 pack instead of saying 68 pack 😂😂
Its_Chris_2003 / Chris Andrews you’re asking a awful lot that’s couldn’t be done they can’t change the actual model mate. As much as it would be nice ap couldn’t do the variants you’re asking for as they don’t own the model that doesn’t make it rushed but I get what you mean lol

Hi Alan what an awesome product, i watched the video while listening to the sounds on my headphones and this blew me away.Have been away from Trainsim for a while can you recommend a good uk route and train for me to get back into it.

AP got the engine and TM sounds spot on.

It's a shame they didn't do any Chiltern scenarios, I spose it's Just Trains territory. No doubt the community can deliver some of those!
On the DSD going off every minute regardless of control input, my guess is that Stadler used an existing system they have on European trains (I believe SIFA goes off regardless of control input) and just didn't bother linking it to the controls as they had already satisfied the safety regulations. I wonder if they've done the same for the Greater Anglia FLIRTs...
There are also hidden features in this pack such as the interactive in-cab computer with different tabs of train information.
Think those were there when it came out from DTG.
They were, you'd think AP would improve them though.
DTG did an amazing job with them I don’t see what ap could have done to improve them

Do I need the coach pack?. Ik when I load it to press f2 but will they be invisible or will it be replaced with default coaches
Invisible and whatever is hauling it will be invisible as well the f2 trick is ok but it can break scenarios
Just out of interest, what is the radar?
The Radar system is used to measure and display the current speed. The air hiss produced every 25 seconds is simply a blast of air to remove debris/particulates that could build up, obscuring the system's ability to accurately measure speed.
Simple way of thinking about it is like a windscreen wiper. Rain builds up, you can't see, so you use the wiper to clear the screen.
The braking is still to be desired, compared to DTGs work on the Class 43, but saying that this has made it driveable. But TSW is much more encompassing; never buying another TS2020 addon again.

All sorted now if you redowload the pack
spoke to Armstrong powerhouse after the update still having the issue apparently as i haven't got the cummins pack the scenario won't work properly
The vigilance only activates when the controls have not been operated for a set time, so no they would not sound when approaching a red light if you have moved the brake handle, I presume it is the same for all stock.
Actually on the 68 the vigilance alarm goes off every 60 seconds regardless of control movement.
Usually that’s correct but on the 68 and some other more modern stock it’s 60 seconds regardless of controls I had to check the real world 68 manual to check but it is correct as per real life confusing though
@@AlanThomsonsim Didn't know that, can see that being a distraction when braking as you say, not very helpful when approaching the blocks either. most probably drivers activate the vigilance and acknowledge it so that it won't go off at a crucial moment.
